Paul Whybrew still works for the royal family but in a new role. He was given a home for life in a cottage at Windsor Palace by Queen Eliabeth in her will. He has been hired by King Charles to catalogue and archive all of Queen.Elizabeth II's personal correspondence spanning her entire life and reign.

Our Monarchs don't give homes for life to staff for life, there would be no housing left for staff, houses go with jobs, in the past some old retainers had been given homes for life for their loyalty and this was all stopped by our Government in the 1970s, because we the taxpayers were paying for it and its very unlikely that Paul Whybrew has been given access to any of our late Queen's papers, that job would be given to someone senior who had already seen them, which was her private secretary Sir Edward Young, he dealt with official and private documents, he was little more than a butler and no one knows what was in our Queen's will, royal wills are sealed the only that is that most things are passed from Monarch to Monarch don't believe everything you read, royal reporters have said most of it is gossip and made up

@lsmith9249 It has been reported in every major news outlet across the commonwealth and most of the world, so hundreds of news outlets made it all up? So much so that some historians and universities have raised concerns about his not having a history or archival background and petitioned for a historian to join him. Now, he is heading a team to review all of her papers and decide what gets archived privately and what will publicly enter the royal archives. He is currently publicly listed as a member of the Master of the Household's Department in that position. Windsor, Sandringham, and Balmoral all have cottages on them. Who lives in them and for how long is up to the monarch. Not every servant would get that honor, but some do. As he would lose his position on her death, she indicated that she wished him to have the privilege to stay in his work assigned home for life. Likely King Charles would honor that wish. The cottages don't belong to nor are they paid for by taxpayers. They are private estates owned by the Monarch personally and not held by the crown. As she had been the monarch for 70 years, there were likely few changes over that time, and she likely made those decisions closer to the end of her life or in writing after her death. I suggest that you and anyone else who wants to spout off blindly go do some simple research and see.

@@harlowesadventuresinwonder1564 just because something is widely reported does not make it a fact and these stories originate from our tabloid press, and these historians are authors, Andrew Morton was a tabloid journalist, he is the one making all the fuss it is always many years before some of a Monarchs private papers are released, King George VI hasn't been released yet and Paul Whybrew was a page of the backstairs, its a steward or butler he was not a courtier who are the senior staff Windsor Castle is owned by the nation and the homes for the staff go with their jobs, our Government changed the rules in the 70s because a lot of loyal retainers were being allowed to live in grace and favour homes Balmoral and Sandringham which are miles away are the only properties personally owned by the Monarch but houses go with jobs on estates, in the past when staff retired some were given homes for life, but that was senior staff and it doesn't happen now and our press have said, it was our late Queen's wish that some of her ex staff were given homes, but ex staff have 3 months to vacate their homes in fact the press complained about this when our Queen Mother died there is no evidence of our Queen making that wish, the press have said it was in her will, but royal wills are sealed

Lady Hussey was a Lady In Waiting... and one of her jobs was to get information about people in the room before the Queen entered. So that should the Queen meet an individual, she would remind the Queen (if needed) who the person was and what company they represented (thus, sticking by the Queen's side). And in the case of the other woman calling Racism, she was fully dressed in traditional African Attire (even though she was from the Carribean). It was just a misunderstanding that got blew out of proportion. P.S.. I'm a colored person from a former British colony, so don't play the race card with me.

She knew her popularity was at an all time low. It showed when she died. There weren't 1/4 of the amount of flowers for her that there was for Diana. Diana cared about the people & was a good person. Her charities showed that. The queen didn't do anything for anyone if there wasn't something in it for her. The only time I saw any expression of love on her face was when she talked to her dogs.

'Ngozi Fulani' is, in fact, one Marlene Headley. She ran the charity called 'Sistah Space' [sic]. While she grew up in London, her parents both came to the UK from Barbados, so it would have been perfectly reasonable for Ms Headley to state this when conversing to Lady Susan, as she must have known full well what Lady Susan meant. Ms Headley was also dressed in a faux tribal outfit during the exchange, so it's hardly surprising that she was asked about her origins - women brought up in Kilburn tend not to wear invented african costume to official functions! Lady Susan is now, by the way, 'back in the fold'. Angela Kelly decided to move back to her roots and, apparently, was gifted a decent-sized detached house in Yorkshire. On his retirement, Edward Young was made a peer and a Lord-in-Waiting to HM King Charles.
