Probably the most hype session I have had this year. I have tricked so little this year, only at a rate of a bit more than once a week. Lifting and healthy body have been my priorities. I did so much damage to my body last year by tricking too much and only doing bodyweight conditioning which is not enough for me and my old injured knee. Therefore I didn't have many versatile sessions like this on this year. A month ago I received a cortisone injection to my right knee in order to get rid of a so called plica syndrome that has been there on and off for the past 2 years after my MCL tear. Atm it has no symptoms and I hope to keep it that way. Happy to not have lost any of my skills despite focusing so very little on maintaining them. I certainly feel all the cleans and jerks I have trained as some good power and efficiency in my body. Looking forward to more hype sessions like this!

What do you recommend for longevity in tricking? In terms of training and conditioning.
@johzuke12 ай бұрын
Do not get a meniscus tear. Easier said than done though. It can be only a matter of one small mistake in the air. Condition your weaknesses, have good air awareness, do not try stuff you do not understand well enough.

This was FIRE. Your tricks are so clean and powerful, but god, THE SPEED OF YOUR KICKS. Please i need to know how you get more powerful and fast kicks like this. Is there a specific training you do for it?
@johzuke12 ай бұрын
@@benjaminmaturanavargas8992 most of my training is lifting but I have always been on the faster side when tricking so that can't be the only explanation. I guess it's also a mindset, I try to kick really hard, I try to transition from one trick to another as fast as possible. When you trick with that kind of intention long enough you will start to see results.
@benjaminmaturanavargas89922 ай бұрын
I see! Now that you mention it, i think my kicks are not as fast and powerful as i can make them be😅😅 Thanks for the advice✌️

Man thanks for you content. I'm a bboy and i see lot of bboy do circle raiz (neguin, Daniel). I want to know if you can do sideswipe circle. This must be impressive and with your very high level it must be easy.
@johzuke12 ай бұрын
So like sideswipe missleg sideswipes? I have only seen one person (Alex Hunter) to do it. I do not train misslegs so I would have zero chance to do this.

@@MrPinkDino learned from my past mistakes to push the sessions too long. Always just leads to bad performance and pain in the end. Might have to start filming for a sampler.

I have a tutorial on it. It's called coindrop but there are other styles to do it too. I teach my way in my tutorial.
