Thanks for sharing. Took me about 45 minutes to change mine on a 21 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. You gave me the idea to not take off the tire, which made it tighter to work, but saved some time and hassle as well.

Thanks for the video Jason! Appreciate your insight. Would love to see a video on the bypass you mentioned if you ever get around to doing this project. ~ Eric

Yeah I touched the negative post with my ratchet and got burned! Pain in the butt to change this battery. I'm going to look at ways to bypass it and get rid of it. I hate the start/stop nonsense anyway.

Great tip man. Gave you a sub.

Definitely seem like the fastest way. However, how did you get the outer fender liner reattached? Looks like its blind/encased and you would have to remove the fender to reattach? Did you just not reattach them and let the 10mm bolts and liner push pins hold it in place?

I did buy new clips a week later. Some go back in.

Is the large primary battery connected or disconnected when changing the auxiliary battery? If you disconnect it, does it affect the programming?
@WolfOverland11 ай бұрын
Does not affect programing. It is connected when charging.

What happens if this battery is just taken out and not replaced with anything?
