Auxbeam auxiliary switch, and back up lights

I put the AuxBeam 8 panel in my truck several months ago. I love it. I bought the basic 8 panel instead of the RGB. The RGB costs more and has features I don't need. I hooked mine to the ACC fuse so that it is on only when my truck is running. I used heavy duty Velcro to mount the panels instead of drilling holes and using the provided brackets. I have had no problems. In addition to the backup lights, I used one switch to control the auxiliary fuel tank solenoid so that I don't have to stop to manually open and close the valve. I also connected a switch to my cooker. It allows me to turn on the cooker about 30 - 45 minutes before I stop. My food is ready as soon as a stop. This is a great addition to any truck. There are many uses. I believe the water cover is used if you have the panel mounted in an open jeep or somewhere that is wet. My panel is mounted in the cab and should never get wet.

One of the main things I like is that I am only using a aux radio circuit fuse tap to trigger the auxbeam. That is my only interface with the beyond complex truck electrical system. From the auxbeam I control external fuel tank, air bag compressor, dash cam, gps, likely some work lights in the future. Makes for a clean low risk install.

Try out the auxbeam led headlights, I’ve used them for about 3 years now and love them, there is a draw back though, you’ll get people to flip there high beams on at you a lot, great video !

But how do you wire your pod lights to the Auxbeam panel and to your reverse lights and separate switch to use when you are not in reverse .

Mr.Tennessee so you wire the reverse lights and the switch to the positive side of the pod lights and then run the wire to the Auxbeam from the lights
