AUXBEAM F-S2 LED BULBS IN A BENZ? REVIEW + INSTALLATION

Hey! I was actually looking around for LED bulbs to replace my oem halogens that burnt out on my 1999 c230 kompressor. I went directly to the link you provided and package came the next day and installed them. I'm glad I came across your video and wanted to let you know i'm happy with the results! edit: Do you recommend leaving the dust cap off?

KrazyCoca hey man! Im glad this video helped! Amazing how KZbin works 😃 so my recommendation is to leave them off just so the LED bulbs can breathe, the built in fans could over work theirselves if its air restricted, what I also recommend is (its optional) wrap the plug where it goes into the headlight wires in electrical tape in case water wants to reach up in there. Other than that you’ll be alright! Again thnx for the encouragement on helping people like you!

of course, but then the dust and dirt goes inside the light housing and so visibility decreases again over time due to dirt that you can’t clean unless you put the light apart.However, it is better than igniting something as was the case with such LED lights, as they heat up too much.

Hey, I was planning to install these in my w202 too.. tell me, does an error appear when you turn on the headlights? Another question: do these bulbs fit in 100% or do you have to cut something to make them fit? Maybe you can make a short clip showing how it looks from the inside as this wasnt shown in the video.. thanks and greeting from Germany ;)

kingsan1200 hey thanks for the comment & hello from Canada! so all you need to do is just plug and play! Theres no cuts or mods you have to do, where the bulb goes, the metal clip retainer you use, will lock these bulbs in good like normal ones, then you put the led bulb through the little hole and tada! Sadly i sold the car but i have a W220 now so its similar and ill be making a future

Hey GND, thanks for the quick reply.. I just checked the ebay germany offers of auxbeam, they only have the newer model, the f16 in stock. Now i´m not sure if these will fit as they have an adapter attached to them and it looks quite big to fit into the w202 headlight.. maybe you can check it out and tell me from your experience if they would fit.. thanks and best regards!

Do you need to do programming on your Mercedes with the Auxbeam F-S2? I have a 2003 Mercedes E320. Thanks.

william yeh hey, nah it was just plug and play for me, your w211 shouldnt need any programming, usually you can just unplug the bulb from the wiring socket with the LED bulb as if its like a regular bulb being plugged in, if any more questions let me know man
