This is what I was looking for. It gave a clear cut idea to choose my auxiliary setup after a year of owning a bike.

Yes go for it but don't buy from there website.. If by any chance(like damage or something like that) you have to return the product they will not help you. There is no return option in there website. Only saying 15 days return policy that's it.. You have to find there content. And then ask them to return and they wil only say. Ok we will do something as soon as possible. And same thing every time... So don't west your money.

Any reason for not comparing Rawstone? They might have a smaller range than Maddogs but have been doing good much before Maddogs were launched. I've been using them and very happy at decent speeds.

Great video! I’m new to the AFV bike market. Just bought a 23 GSA 1250. I’m a firm believer in being seen or heard on a bike! Obviously primary helping with your field of view at night. I’ve been using Diode dynamics lights for years…great lights. Looking at adding twin sets of ss3. One amber that’s dot approved for road use then another white pair for longer range off-road use. I’m new so don’t really understand why some of the others ie Denali & Clearwater are so much more and don’t seem as bright. If I’m understanding correctly they can be dialed down on bike wonder wheel? Honestly not sure if that really necessary as I would want the amber fogs on all time and off roads on with high beams so don’t really see being it other than dialing back the off-road light for reg night riding. Any recs greatly appreciated!

Hi. First off, totally blown away by your awesome and detailed explanation on lumens. Now, i have a Suzuki Vstrom 250 & i ride a lot between cities, mountains and southern states. Plan to ride northeast, Goa and more. I live in bengaluru. What would be apropropriate lighting for my needs? Pls guide me. Thanks

Honestly speaking alpha's are great for that sort of a need , but if you have the budget then please go for the squadron sports..hell of a difference

One Bajadesigns squadron pro in combo beam with one Diodedynamics SS3 pro in driving beam with 4500k is a really good light setup up to 120kmph. Anything higher up say like 140-150kmph, add one Diodedynamics SS3Max pod in spot or driving beam to the above setup and one shouldn’t require more light than this on a bike.

Good comparative video. I’m looking for auxiliary lights for my vstrom 800de. I’m confused between DD SS3 Pro combo pattern & BD Squadron Pro driving combo. I did some research and find DD’s driving or combo pattern lights with their TIR optics are better suited for road/highway riding. BD on the other hand, are actually off road lights. They lit up the road well but also more glare to the oncoming traffic. Theoretically TIR > reflectors but what’s your take on this? I’m sure you guys would have used them and sold them to many. Any comments?

Hi Sreejith... Nice and informative video. However What are your views on Denali S4, D4 and D7
@ramachandrasrinivas45113 ай бұрын
All is well but we aren’t considering the blinding effect to the oncoming traffic and the traffic in the same lane. Waiting for the pro companies to start shipping auxiliary lights with projector and in yellow coloured beam.

I had an enquiry. I've been using maddog alpha on my Yezdi adventure since last year May. I also have the HJG 40 watt lights. I mainly use Alpha for flashing. Since last 2 to 3 months if I use the Alpha for continuous 10 minutes (HJG one's are off) , the lights just stop working. And then after about 15 to 20 mins they start working again and then again stop after 5 to 10 mins. I changed the battery but the problem still persists. Would like to know your opinion on the same.

Which has better efficiency Denali D4 or squadron pro? For night driving between 90 to 100 and maxing out to 110 sometimes, how is these two compared to Maddog alpha in visibility and power consumption.
@rrishi9972 ай бұрын
Go for baja squd pro- 80watts. Much better than maddog. Again it's 4x more expensive. If money isn't a concern then go for baja
