Am Sepron Indlvarn I am Omega Squad for sure. My load out currently has 2 rocket launchers in the form of a backup/loaner XBZ and my SuperMaxx Maverick build Glaurung, Primary is a Spring thunder named Yamata no Orochi(or just Orochi) with a pigeon sidearm. The first 2 are straightforward, but the main 2 blasters are really something, and it touches on what I love about the ST. It's a tactical shotgun. Buckshot standard round, singled for longer range, and then Mega for Supers. The sidearm is for higher RoF.

I really like this... though my own division, Sigma Command, is quite different. We run on more chaos and sharpshooting than order and command, but every one of us gets jobs done.

Nice. We refer to that as a "Feral Squad." They are very effective if used correctly.

Another comment to brought this to my attention, but it will fit perfectly with my loadout a cavalry squad, a squad which combines different aspects of sharpshooter, scout, omega, hunter, and Ferrell. That is going to be my custom patch, cavalry squad! Now I just need to make it. Great video captain I may have already asked you this before but do you know what Sergeant lances favorite animal is I wanted to include it in the omega patch, as I am, including the badger in the feral patch per Brett’s request.

so question, while every unit should be carrying ammo to hit supers, would you call omega squad uniquely a unit whos primaries fire this heavier ammo? now that we have blasters like the motorstryke and buzzbee has the tyrant line with mega as its primary ammo, would you make these the ones specifically in omega squad? rockets i cant see being a primary considering the fortnite rocket launcher is way too big but mega seems to have settled into a nice heavy primary category.

Omega squads are free to use whatever blasters they think will allow them to fulfill their role. They could dual wield bulldogs if they can make it work. Personally I would lean towards a Megaburn, with my mega Hammershot or Mega Ultra 2 as one sidearm and a PewPew as the other. For stock blasters I would lean towards a Twinshock or a Megalodon with a Magnus and a Hammershot a sidearms.

But to answer your question, no, Omega Squad need not have Mega as their primary. In most games most Zeds are not Supers. So having a whole squad whose primaries are Mega might not actually be very functional in anything but a Super Zombie dense last stand situation (Like Rag 2018). In most games it might make more sense for them to have particularly good and readily accessible secondaries that are Mega. That way they can easy switch to it when Supers are spotted.
