Auxito LED headlight install and review. 2004 Honda CR-V, 9003 / H4

I just got my auxito leds and installed them on my 2014 crv and they work perfectly. The DRLs work with no flickering, love these lights, the only hard part of the installation was removing the dust cover, it was stuck on the light and I had to use a gasket hook to get it off, I think that the lights were original (10 years old).

Does it blind any upcoming traffic at all? That’s generally the problem of led’s in halogen housings, although I read if done correctly it doesn’t necessarily do it. I ask because i want to do exactly what you did, my CRV has rather dim lighting

That can be a big issue. They have gotten much better over the years and in this application they have worked great. As you can hopefully see in the video the light output is significantly better, but my buddy who’s CR-V they are in says he has not had people flashing their brights at him. Thats not particularly scientific, but in the real world that may be more meaningful. You may need to adjust the headlights slightly after install and that is a critical part of ensuring they don’t blind people as well.

I recently got these exact same bulbs for my 2004 Honda Pilot and the beam cutoff is borderline perfect. The light cuts off under the windows of other vehicles perfectly on low beam and the high beam lights up everything in front of you for a long distance. I even got a little extra white light in front of me with the switchback LED turn signal bulbs I have in it, too, which are also super bright. I recommend them to anyone. I love them. I’ll never buy another halogen bulb again. Get them with confidence. The H4 versions of nearly every high quality LED headlight bulb seems to give a beautiful beam pattern every single time. At least the ones I’ve bought so far. Like I said, I love them and I’m never going back to halogen/incandescent bulbs again. Driving at night never felt better.

⁠​⁠@@bennieaustRight? I’m even doing a similar conversion on my vintage cars, too. I love classic automobiles from the 50s up to the mid 80s and own a couple myself, but the bulbs in those much older cars, quite obviously, suck. I’m putting LED bulbs in all of my cars, even the vintage ones. Halogens are just so dated and just not safe to use anymore compared to the LED bulbs. I can’t stand them. Even my house is loaded with LEDs, now. I love old things from history but the halogen bulb is one ancient thing from the past that I did not & will not miss.
