is there any way to make it stop? double tapping the tap switch works, but then the pedal starts up again. moments later you have a loud oscillating sound happening even when the pedal is off.....

thats what delays do... but i managed to workaround it, just use a volume pedal before it, so just after you stop playing, shut your volume down, and wait for it to stop, then turn it off andd the volume up

Just use whatever. The stereo ins and outs of this pedal don't actually do anything at all.

SoseBreaks ! Just go same in to same out. So in Left, out Left, or in Right, out Right. It's not true stereo, just dual mono, so it doesn't matter

sound on sound mode seems to randomly restart itself even after you stop it. the pedal will keep oscillating and eventually starts producing noise on its own.

Listen to the 1970s/early 80's rock band ELO ( the Electric Light Orchestra ). They used a lot of these same Earthquaker devices sounds back then but on synthesizer instead of guitar. Listen to the opening effects of ELO's "I'm Alive" if you want to hear the Rainbow Machine in a song before it was even invented. Check it out. In less than 15 seconds into the song you'll hear a Rainbow Machine.
