I'm gettin this pedal in about 2 weeks, thanks to this wonderful video :) the 100% wet reverb, the swells and the "Analoguish" sound that the lower tones of delay gives you, it's what gets me

Wonderful pedal, and very nice video. So Strymon is still cool, but this will not be out of place on any pedal board! Be looking into it! The detail I really liked in this video is how you appear to grow taller, and up when the auto-swell is doing it job! Thanks for all your nice work and demos Bill!

Thankyou for all the work you do. Been watching you for years and what you offer and explain is always superb content. I’ve just bought one of these so to free up the dig and blue sky from a synth set up and get them back on my guitar pedal board. Shine and shimmer on Mr. Chords of Orion.

You should demo the new Seymour Duncan reverb+delay pedal that they made with Mark from Periphery! That pedal actually allows you to choose if you want delay>verb or vice versa. It looks super versatile and I would be interested to see how it sounds in the hands of an ambient master!

Fantastic demo! I may have mentioned this before, but not only is the sound on sound thing amazing and a lot of fun, but if you shut the time setting right off beautiful synth tones are quite randomly generated. Turn the mix right down, crank the time up and back down again...when the mix comes back up, voila, totally new pitch. It is very hit and miss, and according to the developer each pedal will give different results. I can attest to that because I am on my third pedal (I switched out with a great retailer until I got one that generated the most varied tones and pitches). When I have a guitar loop running on the ditto, I can play with these synth tones and literally add them in when they work harmonically. So it is also a synth! Your guitar, btw, has a lovely tone...a lot of that comes from the mind and fingers right? I absolutely love what you did with the reverse delay!

Looking forward to that next video, man! Reverse is pretty important to me, and I particularly enjoyed the auto-swell stuff at around the 3 min. mark. The flexi-switch and tap tempo parts of this pedal are what I'm excited to see more of. Also more uses with both reverb/delay and some discussion around that. Thanks again for your vids: great vibe and fun sounds.

My favorite pedal of all time. I can't get enough this thing even after a year. Edit: As far as reverse delay goes, there's a sweet spot that will give you faux arpeggiation. It's really cool.

Back then I mentioned that I didn't want to get the Avalanche Run (which was the v1) since I had gotten the Afterneath and Transmisser. And yet, I decided to get the v2 because it has the necessary settings for reverb (like getting a full wet reverb setting in swell mode which is my favorite setting).

@Dean botts Not a mind blowing difference unless you really like the expression options. You can do some really neat stuff with the parameters through. I am thinking about getting a Boss GT-1000CORE, which includes some delay effects. Would it make sense to get the Avalanche Run anyway? Can it crete sounds a multieffects delay could not create? In a way it's a bit sad to have a multieffect unit which can do about everything without other pedals.
