Had no idea a version of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra was still going. Sounds excellent.

Great to see this music still alive I'm a distant relative of the Dorsey Brothers. My dad looked just like Tommy.

Nostagic times. There was a juke box in our gym area playing many of these tunes. Kudos to the T.D. Orchestra for keeping it LIVE.

NOT ONE PLACE IS IT MENTIONED THAT JEFF BUSH IS LEADING THE BAND, WHICH IS SLIGHTLY ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES....

He did introduce himself at the beginning when he introduced the band, and the first two numbers they had played.

How come the lady on Bari is playing the intro on Bari when it's written for bass clarinet then change to Bari ...?
@247hdjazz4 ай бұрын
I've had other bari players do the same thing.........usually, the don't own a bass clarinet......is the most popular excuse.....

I would have started by having the Reeds tune up!

All that is needed is to see Buddy Rich on the drums, Tommy on the trombone, Frank Sinatra on vocals and all them-there others of the 1940s. Who doesn't wish for that? MORT KUFF ( I remember when)
