This is one of Sammet's best songs. The melody is excellent in all parts and the lyrics flow perfectly. A nice energetic song and exactly what you would expect in an Avantasia album. This and Black Orchid are the two best songs on this album IMO.

Tobias is really a mestermind when it comes to writing tales, and combining them into bombastic power metal stuff, but he also likes to make balads as every other metal band. But only true fans will understand the real meaning of every song on the album. So this album is a MASTERPIECE like every other Avantasias album.. and they to underestimated if you ask me...

I think that was the main point of the scarecrow... That there was one in everyone. Toby is the scarecrow, i'm the scarecrow. you're the scarecrow. I just loved that fact, it's an amazing Trilogy. I also think thats why it's so amazing for many people.

To all the people who says that it's either Kiske or Catley at 1:54, you need to give a little listened to Pretty Maids, the Ronnie Atkins band. you will notice that it's him who sings in that little part, it' awesome! like he has two voices at a time O.O

6:35 is Kiske, and guess what, that's how he actually sounds. As for 1:54 in this video, it might sound like that to you because of the backing orchestration.

The band is more awesome than anything out there, at least in my opinion, it's my favorite band and Toby is my GOD. Listen to any of their songs! They're all awesome! I recommend Lost in Space, favorite song of all time.

This is great. I'm right back in Metal Opera days. It's like the album has continued where it left off, except now it's another "book", you might say, a whole new story. Most of the same familiar cast with some new characters also joining the merry band, off on a new adventure. Without the religious overtones, this time it's just plain fun and daring do. Will Toby get lost in time? Will Bob Catley have to build a time machine to rescue him? Will Kiske hit high notes? Stay tuned to find out.

I have been listening Avantasia till its beginings, Edguy too, but I'm still waiting for new vocals, not saying Tobias Sammet is doing it wrong, but is one song and another with the same high pitched voice, actually the songs i do listen are the one who cooperates with some other singers, like "seven angels".

I'm from America, and Avantasia is by far one of my absolute favorite bands ever. I love the stuff Tobias and his team put together. I've even come to call myself a Scarecrow after relating so well to The Wicked Trilogy.
