Gaz, can I just say that I love how you give options 💛 Substitutions for ingredients like oil or alcohol if avoiding, pine nuts if too pricey, and other modifications.

I have been vegetarian since July 2013. Gaz inspired me finally to become vegan because he has showed that vegan food can be very interesting and delicious even without cream and cheese. Gaz, thank you so much for your recipes (although I can`t repeat exactly many of them because I live in Russia, it is hard to find some products here, for example, cale or royal oyster mushrooms). And of course your charm and the atmosphere of your kitchen cause incredible emotions.

I made this yesterday! It really ridiculously quick. I just changed the Broccoli for some sugarsnaps as they and the cavolo nero are ready to pick in my garden. As I had no Basil, I made some pesto with fresh oregano. Delicious! Thank you for sharing it! 😊

I make a lot of pesto and started using toasted sunflower seeds in place of nuts and love the results. Give it a try!

This sounds and looks amazing, lucky to all those who can try it out. I sadly live in a country where I can't get any fennel, brocolli (we only have it in the winter), or kale. But I will look for ingredients that will replace these, because that's what plant-based cooking is all about. Cook with whatever veggies you can find, use the right spices, and you create magic. Thanks for another amazing video!

They say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach but it is also a way to his mind and what you promote is just so encouraging that I have no words! You make veganism seem so easy, affordable and delicious! I wish you had your TV programme so that people would watch you cook as we do here on yt! Another way to save a bit of money for gardeners... snap off the flower stalks from bolted lacinato kale ( cavolo nero to y’all) and use in place of broccollini. Really good tossed in olive oil and black pepper and roasted, too.
