I became a vegan on 2/22/22 and as a woman in her 50's I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. I was a vegan in my 30's but the options were never like they are today. I love how I feel and I have lots of energy. Was on antidepressants and sleeping pills and completely off of them now and I sleep much better. This has been a long time coming and watching your videos and what can be eaten as a vegan that is flavorful, healthy and delicious made me a believer..thanks💚💚

Take care of yourself and don't feel bad about taking medicine if you would need it again. Wholefood vegan is very healthy, but it's not necessarily a cure for everything. Having said that, I am absolutely sure that many illnesses, including mental illness such as depression, can be improved with healthy food and lifestyle and it's always good for our soul to choose kindness and vegan food is the kindest food. ❤

I make sweet and sour tofu often - I like to use tinned pineapple chunks for convenience, then I can use the reserved juice/syrup for the sauce. I also add apricot jam to the sauce (instead of sugar) to make it sweeter but also to add astringency. I also add soy to the sauce. Lastly, chunky cut mixed peppers. Yum

Thank you! I made an innocent comment on another vegan KZbinr's channel saying thanks for using more natural protein, like tofu, tempeh, beans and legumes. Wow, I got so much hate, people saying that soy is killing us and feminizing men (really the Asian folks eating it for 2000 years seem OK) and that it is also a processed food etc, etc. I honestly don't have thick enough skin to ever be a KZbinr.
