The movie looks next level incredible. I can't wait to be immersed in the world of Pandora again. We're mind blown from a minute trailer, imagine the 3 hour movie! It's going to be epic in 3D underwater

There's a lot of pressure as it's been 13 years since the last one but hopefully it'll live up to all our expectations. :)

I'm looking forward to seeing the film, I kind of enjoyed the first part, I think I'll have to watch it again later. Thanks for the reminder

Avatar 2009 was shot in 3D while the rest of Hollywood would shoot in 2D than convert the film into 3D. It’s a very huge difference. It’s why people feel fatigue and get headaches when they watch film in 3D(2DConverted3D), essentially it shouldn’t be called 3D because it’s not. Avatar was actually shot using multiple stereoscopic cameras from different distances combine the frames into one which gives us those true different levels of distances between the objects within the shot. 3D is not about objects coming at you it’s about seeing the different levels of distance between objects in the frame which make it feel very real. That’s true 3D. Avatar and I believe Hugo was the only 2 movies that filmed with true native 3D cameras. It’s a treat whenever Avatar is re released in 3D because even after 10 years with all the MCU and Star Wars films it’s a treat to see a true native 3D film.

Well there are a few things I'll say (all this is online to read about the movie): Firstly, there is a huge timeline jump in between the first and second. This sequel takes place about a decade and a quarter, maybe even a decade and a half after the first one. Secondly, the human is named Javier "Spider" Socorro, he was supposedly born in the RDA facility, and Jake and Neytiri rescued him. But because of his humanity, there is friction between Neytiri and Javier. Thirdly, the two new Avatars aren't actually Avatars. They are the children of Neytiri and Jake, who's names have yet to be revealed if not already. Finally, the villain is already shown in the trailer of this movie. If we go to 3:06 and 3:23, there is an Avatar that has a very similar tattoo to that of Colonel Quaritch, the villain of the first movie. Its hard to catch, but when you notice the two tattoo on Quaritch's left arm and the tattoo on the left arm of said Avatar, its very terrifying to say the least for Neytiri and Jake. This then begs the question: If it is Quaritch, how did he survive his death? All this could be revealed when the movie comes out in December. I love Avatar so much and I didn't enjoy the idea of a franchise, but this teaser gave me hope for the coming movies.

I think the movie looks cool and it's crazy what James Cameron has done but Avatar does nothing for me. The first one was Totally overrated in my opinion.

That's because you're a comic book & Star Wars nerd. You're mad because Avatars appeal is eclipsing anything your movies could ever hope to achieve. It's the most incredible world, not some woke Star Wars garbage 🤣
