I get irritated with the comparisons to other movies. Avatar is/was special. There is a clear message with Avatar that resonated with people. The fact people suffered depression after, to me feels like grief. At one time we were connected to the earth as the Na’vi are to Pandora in the movie. They are mourning the loss of the connection. I even felt it afterwards. Now that Avatar 2 is out, I teared up when I saw the world on the screen. I whispered, “Hello, Pandora. I’ve missed you.” This is an awesome analysis of the story here. Thank you for your Way ❤. As a Tribal Member of my Nation, I have memories of my elders on rare occasion speaking of the life of being Coast Salish Natives 🤟🏽. Our relationship is with the government, Congress and Senate an the President not so much local entities. That's where our agreement is. With the President. An we always have to go to bat for our Way of life against Big & Wealthy Corporation 🙏🏽. My Tribe has been doing well on most of these fronts, winning most of the battles. However it seems like the Plains seem to lose more than they win against billionaires and their corporate agendas 😢... It really is a current hysterical tragedy that'll end up becoming apart of our U.S. history ❤. An as a 37 year old man, I've seen our way of life affected. An one tough thing about it is, is that most of these Native American tribes are and were extremely peaceful people who lived so similar to how it's shown in Avatar ❤... We did have Wars however, what it was is there would ever so often be a few Natives that went rogue. An one argument we hear is that there's no way we a happy, coexisting people. It's hard for some folks to really believe life was Blissful for us. We have what you would consider Medicine Men (Which is within my Bloodline)... An these people over the generations are Divinely selected by the Holy Spirit ❤, chosen by Jesus Christ 👑. So.... For them to be able to be strong in the Spirit 💪🏽, they/we had to be a great and Honorable person as the body of Christ 👑. Balance, Very Matriarchal 🎉😂... We had War Chiefs! Everyone has something they had to be good at, born to be good at. Reef net fishing, clam digging, Basket weaving, making dugout canoe's, hunters, lead singer/drummer, speaker, being a cook was a great honor ❤ and considered almost a sacred job. An we were a headhunting society. So for example if a man went rogue, he would be hunted, tracked down and his head would be chopped off. That's how we dealt with chomos, PDF file's. An our culture 🙏🏽, our Way of life is still somewhat very alive but still fading 😢. A Rich person is someone who has the most to give, which is where Potluck comes from. We regularly have Potlucks and He/She who has the most to give to their relatives or guests would be considered Rich and Gifts would be along the lines of a dugout canoe, maybe Paddles, Smoked fish, handmade cedar clothing which took time and it comes from the person's heart and mind with good thoughts and prayers. An with the Holy Spirit Blessing that person with that gift.. it means a lot 🎉. An my uncle (My Grandma's brother) is one of the last person on earth 🌍 who has the Gift of Eyes, Ears, and hands. It's because of him I have a relationship with Jesus Christ 👑. Because we've come to learn that Jesus Christ is the Truth, the Life and the Way ❤. Which is why we walk in two worlds. Our Way of life which is with the Holy Spirit and our current time's. An I love our country 🤩💗... I absolutely love the good things that has come along with Western cultures, the Bible, the wonderful folks I've met over the years who are good people. But still, every culture, every Tribe through the Generations has those who've Gone Rogue 😢 and make life unbearable at times. It's almost unbelievable 🤯, like why have you, why would you create despair. But! Idk! That's life

One of the moments in this video that made me feel most emotional was the one when you said that while we are living our normal, boring, monotonous lives, people up there are living true freedom. It really made me think a lot about how much better life can be on other planets. We struggle to fit in, we're always worried about waking up at 6 AM to go to work or to school, spending half a day with people we don't like, following rules we don't agree with and living in an environment that is slowly taking our freedom away from us. While we do all that, maybe, just maybe, somewhere up there in Space, on a Planet very far away, intelligent life forms just like us enjoy life at a completely different level. Not worried about made up concepts like money, taxes, religion and politics, living life as it was given to them by nature, not having to pay for existing. And again, just maybe, some intelligent life form in Space, on a different planet, has its mind connected to a giant flying animal, riding it freely in the blue sky, wind flowing through their hair-like structures, never worrying about falling down, never worrying about having to fit in with others, never worrying about made up concepts ... Just living ...

That's very interesting. I never thought of Grace as having had an effect on Eywa, so much as it having had an effect on her, but you're probably right that her knowledge and experience would have added more perspective and perhaps have been helpful in mounting the defence. Before this video, I hadn't quite thought about how Jake's memories of Earth and everything could have been communicated to Neytiri, and to Eywa as well, through the connection. I figure in Jake's case, he would have held back a lot, since he was hiding his secret mission and everything, but with Grace, she would have given everything when she transcended, so yeah... Eywa knew the plan.

Eh, it's a mixed bag. There's a reason why people evolve and choose to change their behavior. I mean, even today some ingenious native tribes in Papua for example have really weird rituals, that I'm not going to discuss here, but you can read about it, which shows you that depravity and insanity is not reserved for civilized world only. Hunter gatherer societies all had strange rituals and practices, they had sacrifices, human sacrifices too; they died of diseases, so they fucked a lot and had many children so at least three of them would survive. They fought for resources, hell, even the native Americans regularly fought each other for resources and whatever reason and they lived exactly like the Na'vi. It's not the pretty picture as some people would make you believe it was. Granted, in "Avatar" the natives are very dignified and noble and we don't get to see their negative side, so it's easy to like them, but yeah, if you are able to stab an animal with a pointy stick and if you are ready to slash the throat of your enemy, like Tsu'tey was about to do, you must think why does he even know how to do that. The Na'vi surely fought each other at times.

Honestly whether or not hunter-gatherism or industrialism are better has to do with what you personally value. If you value the preservation of wildlife, egalitarian societies, and a maximum amount of leisure time, obviously hunter-gatherism is better. If you value getting to Mars, industrialism will seem better. Although it needs to be said that the destruction left behind by industrialism will ultimately benefit a privileged minority at the expense of all other lifeforms.

Ohh, yes! Finally a youtube video that doesn't trash Avatar and actually sees value in the movie of Avatar. I like Jake Sully as the protagonist because he is kinda like me and I love the Na'vi and Neytiri. I'm a xenophile so pleasant aliens like the Na'vi are my favorites. Since the extended version of Avatar was released (and before the extended version) I've rewatched the movie every year at least once. This movie really does show current damage of humanity and perhaps that is why many don't like the movie, people don't seem to like truth and change. As far as I am concerned, I prefer existence where values of the Na'vi are mixed with advanced space-faring technology in a harmonious mix. When I first saw Avatar in the theater, I was in complete and utter awe. I became a changed person. It had such a deep impact on me, and I felt so utterly depressed afterwards... It was like the only happiness I could experience was when I was immersed in the deep, endless jungles of Pandora, so I kept going to see it. Over and over and over again, just to experience a few hours of perfection and beauty and, in the end, the justice of finally protecting it. The movie meant everything to me, it was as if I was seeing my own personal beliefs painted on the screen before my eyes, and for all the world to see as well. I have heard every critique and complaint you can think of about this movie since then, and I have learned to stop bringing up the film at all around others because I'll undoubtedly get someone making some snarky "blue monkey" comment. But to be honest, it only reinforces in my mind what I've always felt about people. We humans are stupid and blind. I honestly don't think there is any hope for us. Being originally born in Africa and fro the Bantu tribe, I relocated to the US for studies and later stayed but one thing struck me when I got here; The abject selfishness and greed amongst Americans, the absolute disregard for the earth and disconnection between people. Where i'm from the word "homeless" doesnt exist because everyone has a family and family takes care of family no matter the cost. I have seen families tell a member "We love you" as he was put in handcuffs and taken to jail after sentencing for minor traffic infractions and because he didnt have $1000 to pay the accumulated fines. Even with over 10 family members there, none of them thought they could come up with the money and free the kid right there and then. I left the court house that day and was unable to sleep. In my mind, I kept seeing them hug him one after the other and it occured to me how different my people are from Americans and their lifestyle. We are a lost people here and our greed is and will kill us all.

This is one of the things that , I believe, stems from the history of chattel slavery, if you are speaking of Black Americans. I was recently discussing with my husband how my southern grandmother felt it her responsibility to educate me about our history dealing with not only prejudice but systemic racism, after all 1960 was not that long ago and 1865 was less than 100 years prior to that. During slavery, enslaved people we’re encouraged to betray one another on behalf of their owners. Fathers were beaten for trying to protect their children, husbands killed for trying to protect their wives. Families actively destroyed by selling members away from one another. For HUNDREDS OF YEARS. And it is expected that all the damage done should be corrected by those who have been wronged and their descendants in a hostile environment in a short amount of time, while smiling. OK.

When I saw Avatar in the theatres, which was my first 3D movie, I saw heaven. I thought I was in that movie with Jake, exploring Pandora in all its beauty and awe. Really hats off to tons of creativity and efforts put into this movie. This movie set such a high benchmark for visual effects that it would still feel fresh after another decade. I also simpely LOVED Avatar and I cannot understand all the hate. This story has been told before yes, but a story that is being told ten times with good quality isn't a bad story, and maybe James Cameron wanted to say that this is what's going to happen if we find intelligent life out in space, maybe it's the fact that it is a well and true story that people will like considering they have liked it before. Think of movie remakes, why do we remake movies? It is so that we can show stories again, maybe with updated effects, maybe with better writing or maybe because the acting standard has been upped from what it was previously. Look at Ben-Hur, movie from 1925 was a silent film, the -59 film was a bigger production because the movie industry grew and we could have sound, now we are remaking it again. Why? Maybe because there aren't many great epics anymore at the caliber of Lawrence of Arabia, with possibly the last one being LOTR trilogy. Avatar told an old story with new technology so we could enjoy the same story we always did enjoy only with more spectacle, nothing wrong with that, if telling a story over again is so looked down upon, how on earth do we continue to adapt book after book after book instead of just writing new stories for our movies? Can't wait to see more of Pandora's story.

When you said our world is Pandora I was completely mind blown!! Im from LA and when this whole pandemic started to happen it really started to scare me. Like damn my whole life is about to end and I've barely lived. But then I started to realize how much clearer the skies were becoming, how much beauty can be found in my backyard garden, and even how in April the ocean waters illuminated this gorgeous glow as the waves crashed the shore (VeRY SIMILAR TO PANDORA). It saddens me because I know at some point this would end once the pandemic is over and everyone moves on to their everyday lives: LA smog has already returned. I wish there was a way that we could go back to our roots but governments are so corrupt nowadays that it's already too late.

Seeing these scenes over, and feeling the emotions over again that they stirred in me like when I first watched this movie, I feel a yearn for death in the way you spoke of. But, it stems not from seeing a world that I could never inhabit, but rather comes from a stabbing, debilitating pain that I am a human like in the movie, which is running clearly to a path of immense self-destruction at the hands of greed and complacency. I feel like part of one of the teeth that turn one of the gears that accelerate a machine that will continue to destroy our planet with consumption and inhumane motives. I don't want to live to see more destruction by the hands of my species. I would rather die than take and take and lead the world to being minutely lost to an unrecoverable cycle of wasted energy on garbage that will pile up and pile up into mountains that permanently scar our land long before it will ever return to an organic state. things feel as bleak as ever in the big picture of civilization. To selfishly turn a blind eye to it in hopes of finding some fleeting enjoyment in our own physical existence amidst a clear downward trend of Good in the world, I feel just as responsible as the powerful elite who direct the assimilation Sorry for rambling

What a powerful comment this is. You are not alone in feeling this way. It is certainly a helpless, hopeless, and depressing feeling you get when you leave the movie theater after experiencing Avatar. I have a theory that many viewers who watched this movie did NOT like that feeling, and instead of looking inward, they became defensive. That's why there is so much strange hatred for this film.

This is pure poetry. Your video analysis is insightful and sublimely perceptive at a whole new level. I literally downloaded your video and will treat it as a podcast during my commute. Pandora gave me serious post Avatar depression, and I didn’t know why until you put these analysis into words. I was existentially depressed 13 year ago because stepping out of those theatres the contrast of all my humanist goals like getting into a prestigious school, winning my next promotion, or being liked by a group of people PALES in comparison to the meaning and depth of the Na’Vis lives. I felt silly and almost dumb - for caring about things and processes that have such shallow meaning. I realized how much my own Ego directed my decisions, rather than doing things or working on solving problems that actually bring value to the natural world. I am a full adult by Avatar 2, but the sequel release came at a perfect time in my life as I’m distancing myself farther from my own Ego, and intentionally choosing life paths that lead me closer to preservation and bringing immense communal value rather than individual enrichment. 🎉 My favorite quote “The Na’vi are an alternate version of humanity.” Adding to your words: The Na’vi are the version of humanity we could be, but corrupted ourselves when hyper efficiency and gluttonous capitalism took over naturalism and collectivism. Out there love is real. Out there freedom is real. Out there life is real.

For all the years I’ve been on KZbin I have never left a comment until now. This video is incredible. I saw Avatar when I was very young, but I recently stumbled upon the DVD in an old collection. I decided to put it in the player and I have found a much deeper appreciation for this movie. The symbolism and deeper plot have taken on a new meaning for me. I was looking to see if someone else thought similarly to me and I left with so much more from this video. Such a fantastic analysis not only of Avatar, but of the themes presented. I especially connected with your thoughts about the deep love bond that can exist between two Na’vi. I believe that sex warps our perception of love. It’s very beautiful to believe that the Na’vi could achieve complete understanding of another. I live in a generation rampant with hook-up culture. I used to agree and participate in that hedonistic lifestyle, but realized that the pleasures are temporary. A loving relationship with another brings true happiness, which is a reward unto itself. I also find it poetic that Jake opens his eyes in the first and last scenes of movie. Symbolic of his paradigm shift.

Even though I don't believe in souls as a thing, much of this essay still resonated with me. You gave me a new appreciation for this seemingly hokey and arguably slightly problematic (depending on the lens you use to view it) film. What looked like a Mighty Whitey story was actually a very deliberate "Fuck you" to our society. Who better to choose as someone to enlighten than someone from the very group that helped spread it so much (yes, I'm aware we're not the only ones, but don't act like we're innocent)? This video is extremely well made. I myself watched avatar when it came out, I was 7 years old. For some reason ive always just "liked" avatar and I always watched in when i was younger but ofc i didnt understand these messages then. Now i am turning 18 in 1 week and i watched the movie again like 3 to 4 times over a period of a week, i was just mindblown. I instantly saw the movie for what it really is and it was beautiful. Over the period of 3 years ive undergone what you would call an "awakening". I have watched countless of videos and done research and been reading books about everything of what we as a species have become and what we actually are. I am certain the whole "universe" is a conscious being or some kind of awareness. Humanity has been lost for a very long time and this plane of existence has been either corrupted by lower vibrational entities feeding on our energy or something because we have been manipulated on profound and deep level. We have been so disconnected from reality and nature that most people today would have to take a lifetime for them to wake up and come to realise of what we are. What i think is most interesting though is in the last couples of years. Spirituality and everything associated with it has been increasing it seems. Something is definitely happening, there seems to be more and more people waking up. In just my friend circle alone me and my friends can talk about things that would have been called delusions or insanity by ordinary people not knowing anything about this stuff. Its really interesting to see someone making a video about this because it was literally on point about everything i felt about this movie.

Avatar is a POWERFUL movie and a lot of people connected with it on a spiritual level. The way the Na'vi cherish, and are one with the world around them. From the plants, to the animals, to their ongoing relationship with their ancestors, it's very relatable. People from another place came to take their resources and didn't care about the destruction they caused or the lives they took. Seeing the Na'vi prevail in protecting their home and way of life at the end was beautiful! It felt like us the whole time watching it. The way they spoke, their hairstyles, their culture, their tribes, their story felt like ours.

I am from Sri Lanka and I've always faught with people when they label us 3rd world. We are much more closer to the nature and the sustainable way of life with access to millions of edible plants and tropical fruits and a healthy fresh food culture and close family ties! I don't understand how we are seen as poor. In my eyes, the industrialized western countries are so poor! They visit our countries and awe at every plant and wildlife we've got. I just get emotional when someone looks down upon us. They are poor by heart!

I definitely will! I cant even imagine what the story could possibly be about, considering that the first seemed self contained within its narrative.

I read it will focus on family narrative and racism. It will be like Godfather family narrative and will centre focus on Jake Sully and Neytiri Family. There will be cruel navi clans who will be against Jake Sully and his kids(racism).

Thank you so much for this incredibly amazing video. Avatar was released when I was 12 years old (I am 23 now), I watched it in the theatre. I've loved nature since I was a little child so when I saw this movie I could find meaning right away, but as I grew older and learned more things about the world we live in, and had life changing spiritual experiences I could find new deeper meanings in this movie every time. Yet this video made me find DEEPER meaning and realizing the powerful symbolism in this movie that people can only meet at the level they have met themeselves. James Cameron is a genius. Thank you so much

I just watched this film for yet first time. I can’t believe I’ve never seen it. I have been researching so much about DMT and other multiverses and so on. The fact this was in the movie yet was with held has rocked em to my core. This came out 11 years ago and it was meant for me to see it now. I understand and feel so much more than I could have 11 years ago. Thank you so much for making this video. I can’t wait to watch more from you.

About a year ago I felt I needed to watch this movie again since watching it when it first played in the cinema. No movie is ever the same after a spiritual awakening. I googled to check if anyone had picked up on things I perceived for the first time when I rewatched it, but didn’t find anything. Until this video landed on my lap today. You’ve done an amazing job. I feel the movie also represents the invasion of the sacred mind each of us has with fear-based beliefs that take us away from unity consciousness .

I am proud to serve the many like minded people around the world! And, you said it: "No movie is ever the same after a spiritual awakening". You are right about that! There are so many layers to this film that I could only talk about some points , while leaving out the rest. I thank you for joining the discussion and for taking the time to watch this video. If you've seen Cloud Atlas, I have also made analysis of that film too!

The Angry Hippie I will watch it for sure. I’m also curious what your interpretation of the lord of rings is. Such a great film with sooooo many “hidden” messages right? Nothing is ever really hidden though. Our vibration, which I like to equate to level of perception, has just been so lowered over time that we miss the miracles and synchronicities that are always around us.

I watched this film first when I was 8. I never really understood what it really meant until I rewatched it a few hours ago. This film is truely beautiful in its message and I find it sad that a lot of people overlook the underlying messages. I found myself in tears which is abnormal behaviour for me in general but this movie truely just brought it out in me. I remember thinking: “machines and guns were the worst thing that happened to humanity”.

This is a real beautiful analysis on this astounding movie. It have a lot of philosophical meanings and beauty that I Already perceived when I first saw the film, but you give a plenty of more daydreams about our reality with all these comments. But what I couldn't understand is why that are so little content analysis of the universe of Avatar on the internet, there are so many details about the world and message of the movie and when I find a content of Avatar is just about the CGI and superficial things and nothing about the storytelling it self and all of its complexity. It feels to me that almost nobody give this art the attention that it needs and last years seens to me that the film have almost disappeared. And video that you've made is the one of few critics of the real meaning and express all the feelings and conection that Avatar give to you. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful philosophical meanings that I ever received from a movie is one of Avatar's, It's how the film represents change and transformation, and how we can change to better even when the chances are Small. So, Jake in the first moment is a broken person, bouth in physiological mean and the mind. He is Shaken up and Hopeless on what Earth have became, he tries to do something, but is useless. So he goes to Pandora and see it just like another common mission, but throughout the story he has to break all his conception to fight what's right not what's conventional to society and the human ignorance. Jake pass to his transformation learning about the real freedom and compassion with nature until he become another person literary (What happened in the ending). And how the film pass it to you is one of most amazing that i've ever seen. It's a pity that not every one contemplated the Avatar that it could be. I also like some of the cientific explanations like the floating montains of Pandora, that It's levitation derive from a effect of superconducters (Unabtanium in this case) called Meissner's effect, this really existes in the nature, although to levitate a montain we would need a lot of superconducters of room-temperature, almost a major part of a crost of a planet to do that, what seens to happen in the film, so it's really cool that they thought about this. And just one only correction to the video, nothing to bother a lot, okay? In 25:00 this is actually not a Dark Matter, but a structure of the universe named Cosmic Web. We can not see dark matter because it's not interact with the eletromagnetic force. In all, it's just this! Your video is great! If you can tell me where I can find more of Avatar analysis, I would stay grateful! And Forgive for my english, I am from Brazil and not even close to a Native speaker, so I have to hone a lot yet lol

I've found myself feeling many instances of depression after watching both Avatar movies as of late. I've heard other accounts of people's similar experiences; those feelings only exacerbated by the fact that the Avatar movies, if taken at face value, are seemingly and notoriously difficult to understand or comprehend since James Cameron's goal was to massively play on symbolysm. The movie is chalk-full of it as described and there are many metaphors. The movies can be depressing because it showcases the worst of humanity and reminds us of just how deprived we are, and upon coming to that realization I decided I needed to find answers. This is quite possibly the greatest film analysis I've seen about Avatar. It's kind of a shame these other youtube movie critics are tearing apart the films so harshly without looking at the bigger picture of what the movie is trying to show. Chances are if you're watching this video and reading this comment section, you're already more enlightened than the average person. The average person, as we know, is still very stupid.

It does give me a similar kind of beautiful feeling to princess mononoke but these are all stand alone movies w different plots etc and I think the 2nd movie expanded on that massively one part was completely spiritual and best part of the movie whilst still giving us hope for exploring more of this universe & it's connection to spirit, I felt spiritually about ferngully but that's for a child's mind to digest and reminisce they are in no way the same other than the feeling of bringing a naive soul into a different perspective, and with princess mononoke almost every main character is super fleshed out from the get go ashitaka is almost this beacon of goodness. God all 3 of these movies hold a really unique special place in my heart

Damn I never thought I'd tear up so much watching a movie analysis!😂 But seriously, your take on how the movie flawlessly weaves in subtle themes and symbols about humanity and consciousness was so uplifting, yet depressing at the same time. You really made me reflect on how we've lived and conquered as a species, and it really is disgusting and horrid to think about how we treat what was gifted to us by nature. Also what really intrigued me was your explanation on the universe existing as a vast inter-connected network; that concept almost gave me an entirely new way of viewing life and death because it was just that convincing. Very-well explained and makes me curious about what truly happens in the afterlife. Are we reborn? Or do our souls return to the "source" and become one with the universe? I guess we'll never know until we experience it for ourselves. Again, truly beautiful analysis on just how complex this masterpiece of a movie is👍.

I think there is a difference in my perspective with regards to Jake "becoming" the leader of the war. Taroke (sic) chose Jake when he tried to kill him at the time of his first ride by Taroke trying to kill him; therefore, the home tree and creatures already knew a fight for life was coming.

Your breakdown was phenomenal and a true joy to listen to! Another neat thing about Jake bonding with the Toruk that I noticed: Neytiri says the Toruk chose her Grandfather's Grandfather. She also says the way the Ikran choose a rider is by trying to kill them. Well, the Toruk tried to kill both Jake and Neytiri when they were riding their Ikran, and though Jake is the one to bond with Toruk, they both end up riding it to fly out to the other clans.

Mainstream people can’t understand the real meaning of Avatar. This movie has two faces, the one you perfectly described in this video and the “action movie” one. People only (want to) see the second one
@Eidlones5 жыл бұрын
My biggest issue with the movie is that the symbolism was incredibly blatant, and didn't offer anything besides showing you what the "other side" would be like. I suppose if the current state of the world depresses the hell out of you, seeing that other side realized might get to you, but ideas and symbolism don't make a movie good. They can enhance, if done well, and I feel like they were very shallow in their presentation.

@@beeeean I do this kind of deep analysis on life everyday, i watched the movie yesterday and it made me think more about reality and how to make this world a better place, with less diseases, violence and aging. I will try to do something about it, it's difficult but not impossible. The video was good until he mentioned the psychedelic drug and that it let us travel to another universe and see other reality, there is no such thing and the drug it's just making the brain neurons go with firing electrical impulses. It's bad for mental and physical health. And in Avatar there are no such things as souls, this movie has a scientific base and everything we see on it could evolve or has already evolved, though maybe not exactly similar, in another place of the universe.

I just watched this film yesterday on the theatre, I had seen it before but I was too young to understand everything it portrays, and even then, I remember it being quite a journey, I was eight, and my 9 year old sister insisted he watched this instead of The princess and the Frog. everything I thought about, you mentioned, more eloquently and organized than my brain has. Thank you for this. I'll be praying for us humans to find our way back to what we really are, animals that share a bond and connection to nature, our home. I felt both reborn and depressed yesterday. Reborn, because my mind was full of beautiful ideas, suddenly I realized I could see this world with open eyes, see everything, live differently. And extremely sad, because it is not easy, to be this emotional in a world where everything is run by the corporate world and capitalism. we're too many, and it seems impossible to organize this world for everyone to be content. I just wonder if I'll get to live in a world like that, like avatar, an evolved, spiritual world, and share the bond with the trees that I always feel like I have. I am very ashamed to admit the connection I share with the world around me. Because everything in this world is supposed to be balanced, so apart from emotions and smiles and ideas, also exists the fun and the making fun of other people. I feel deeply for the world around me, for animals, and all living things, I like observing the ants working, carrying their food, I remember crying when once a boy on my classroom when I was still in high school, stopped on an ant, on purpose, because the ant was carrying a flower, and I was mesmerized by it. I cried. and I talk about it casually, between laughs, nowadays. "remember when that guy stepped on an ant and killed her and I started crying". People think it's funny to cry over such a tiny living thing. It is, kind of. Because humor and irony exist in this world. But I never really understood why insects and tiny living things always seemed so unimportant to other human beings. I don't understand how any living being could be insignificant, and why caring about them is made fun of. Any way

You are so right, humans have no right to determine/ judge the importance of life - especially when it comes to the intelligence of life.
