Nungambakkam, junction of Sterling road bus stop there is an Aadhi Thulukkanathamman kovil . Very beautiful temple. During Navarathri they give chances for the artists to perform music, dance etc.programmes. Very well planned and conducted.

I am residing at Sudananagar Mudaliarpet Puducherry and one lake is near our residential area. Our landmark is near Thulukanathamman temple which is said to be 100 years old. Last week amidst fengal cyclone disaster she has protected our area which contains more than 1000 families while all the other 47 Lake area of Puducherry sustained casualty... Amma is Great

I've been researching about the architecture of arcot town during the time of nawabs, since some time. After identifying the location of fort walls and town walls, i coincidently found that thulukanathuamman koil exists, one near the eastern boundry and another near the western boundry walls of the town. Since then ive been looking for the reasons and logic behind these temples. Thanks for the useful info.
