July 15, 2022. Upheaval Festival, Grand Rapids Michigan USA. I saw Avatar live for the first time and yall opened with Colossus!! I have been hooked ever since!! The thick chunky heavy ass riffs, the vocal range, the theatrics, i just cant get enough. Yall deserved a bigger stage imo. I just wish i had gotten into yall earlier when my stepdad was raving about yall before he passed. I dont remember when or where, but Avatar and Gemini Syndrome was his last show a few years back. @@LordShaiya Yeah that's stupid tho, like this band has a unique hard-to-pin sound and you can't just let that happen without comparing it something. Literally no artist on earth would rather hear "Wow this gives me ______ vibes" more than they'd wanna here "Wow I really like this specific part here." And it just has more people start to pile on like that idiot above saying "actually it sounds more like Type O Negative". Like no bitch, it sounds like fucking Avatar.
