The Chessmon line is actually one of my favorites in Digimon. I like Chess, and the designs are all pretty cool.

So there's a guy in my locals who built chessmon as a control deck using BT13 Keenan and BT13 JumboGamemon JumboGamemon allows you to play a digimon from its stack when your opponent attacks. He uses this effect with multiple copies of Keenan and the on theme tamer to get a bunch of memory and shut off your opponent's turn. Basically he tries to stall until he can chip away the stack and/or swarm the board with enough digimon to go for game. It's a frustrating deck to play against

Not a bad deck. As for me, I run the JumboGamemon variant of Chessmon. By using cards like Laplace’s demon and Sephirothmon, this version abuses the effects of Miki and Megumi, Mamemon and Keenan on your opponent’s turn as well as calling any Chessmon from Jumbo’s stack that you may need. This will make your opponents turn very likely to skip over before they can do anything. Might add either Jijimon or Shadowseraphimon to it for more swarm or defense.

Before I went the Jumbochessmon build I was running Jijimon and it worked wonders on swarming and being aggressive early on

@@kish45 well, 4 bt6 Pagumon, Lv3; 4 of both pawns and 4 bt13 Gotsumon. Lv4: 4 of each knight and 3 Sephirothmon Lv5: 4x bt11 Mamemon, 3 rook 1 bishop Lv6: 4 jumbo, 2 queen or Jiji Tamers: 4 Miki and Megumi, 3 bt13 Keenan, 2/3 bt4 Izzy Options: 4 x Laplace demon

I love how versatile this archetype can be. I already have one built with jumbogamemon and keenan. Note i want to build one with the new bancho leomon, laplaces demon and maybe Spencer Damon.

With the keenan tech, you can run flame hell scythe as well, giving you more ways to spam out digimons on your opponents turn.

Well, that's because there are two different Chessmon lines lol. The original names were PawnChessmon (White) and PawnChessmon (Black) because, y'know, chess. Technically speaking, there should be alternative colors for Bishop, Rook, Queen, and King as well.

I've had a few conversations with my friends about that, but sadly White is used in this game for Digimon/Digital Lifeforms that don't quite fit standard categorization like D-Reaper or Yggdrasil. So making them Yellow and Black instead is the closest they could do.

I feel like the Maki tapirmon package can deffinatly be improved. Why not 1 Tai that gives +1k on opponents turn? And sets memory. And then maybe use armadilliomon x2 or 3 from bt8, he searches for a 2 color yellow CARD. basically everything in the deck, better options then iZy

You can play more KingChessmon and QueenChessmon. Or JumboGamemmon is also a great alternative to playing Level 7s.
