Been waiting for this video as I love the regular and dry scalp salon botanical treatments!! Of course I’ll try this but how does it compare to Shampure? (btw, when is Curly part two coming?)
@DeronEdward4 жыл бұрын
Shampure is a great, simple daily that anyone can use, where Botanical Repair is a more advanced product that actually strengthens your hair at the molecular level. I love Shampure, but this stuff is next level! Be Curly Part II, you’ll have to stay tuned 😊

The old Replenishing body moisturizer is gone (now they have a variety of them in different aromas, but slightly different formula I would say), but the body polish you remember should be pretty close to the cherry almond body scrub.

Hi deron. I am on my growing hair back kinda journey . So , can I use this range to help in lengthening of my hair ? Loved this range in sample size . Just contemplating on which range to buy for my concern . Pl help .
@DeronEdward Жыл бұрын
It’s primarily meant to help repair damage? It probably would help your hair growth journey, but so would recommend the Invati Advanced system as the best option!

Hey! I’m a 3a curl type and looking to repair but also up my curl routine to maintain healthier curls. My hair is back to Au natural, hasn’t been colored for years... but I also hadn’t cut it in years... 4 years.. haha silly girl! Nor has it been treated with heat. My hair was long and voluminous but became a tangled mess from all the split ends, stuck like Velcro! I recently cut an inch and half but honestly could use 1 or 2 more! I’ve been using different masks about once a week and it’s definitely become more moisturized and got its shine back, phew! I was interested in the “be curly” set as it’s obvs for curly heads but was curious if I should swap out the conditioner or shampoo for the botanical repair to help continue to repair and moisturize my curls from the neglect of moisturizing and trimming over the last few years. Thanks for your help!
@DeronEdward3 жыл бұрын
Hey Alexis! If you still need to 1-2 inches off, botanical repair conditioner will probably help you out more than be curly conditioner, tho not as much as trimming those last couple inches 😉 You might also try the rich mask from Botanical Repair!

@@DeronEdward thanks for getting back to me, appreciate it. I’ve decided to go for the botanical repair cond. and the be curly co wash and shampoo & the botanical repair masque to mix in. I like to be able to switch up my products a every other week, so I went with mixing it up vs. sticking to just the be curly. I’m looking forward to trying these! Also got that tourmaline exfoliate 😬 I’ll get those extra inches trimmed soon-ish! Thanks for the tips!

I’m so glad! You should be able to use it on dry hair for like a second day recondition, but I like to put it in damp hair, makes it easier to distribute.

Is it light weight shampoo & conditioner? Suitable for fine hair?
@DeronEdward2 жыл бұрын
Yes! the shampoo is sulfate free so it isn’t as deep cleansing as some shampoos which might impact your feeling of weight after, but I would say overall it’s very light weight

@@DeronEdward I’ve try this line their shampoo & hair mask it’s the best it’s make my wavy frizzy hair straight it’s way better then oribe the only downside of this brand it’s the smell of herbs (not suitable to attract younger buyer like me but it’s definitely deliver what it’s promised) but the smell it’s won’t stick to ur hair after u rinse it with a water... do you have any recommendations for shampoo that will make your wavy extremely frizzy hair straight other then this line yes or no? Or this the only line they had for that
@DeronEdward2 жыл бұрын
Smooth Infusion would definitely help with frizz although no shampoo/conditioner is going to completely straighten your hair without some styling
@gina46353 жыл бұрын
Botanical, is good for frizz & hair breakage? Will it give the hair good hydration?
@DeronEdward3 жыл бұрын
It’s great for frizz and should prevent and improve the look of breakage, but if your hair is chronically dehydrated you may want to use a leave in conditioner like Nutriplenish, or the Daily Moisturizing Treatment

@@DeronEdward if you work at an Aveda salon, they can enter the salon name in the info at checkout. I bet they could even give the salon a call with the order number and let them know you are the reason that they placed the order (this second part is a guess but the first part I know for sure).

So Im not sure of my hair type but its a mixture of 3b to 4b - it is bleached underneath a semi permanent colour I put on because of loss of shine.. I have this range but also watched ur reconstructive video and I dont know what would suit me better. I feel like the shampoo of the reconstructive range would aid the tangling but because my hairs super dehydrated by the time I was it would the reconstructive aspect dry my hair out and make it brittle?
@DeronEdward3 жыл бұрын
I believe Botanical Repair would be better for your hair than Damage Remedy, and the Botanical Repair shampoo should detangle nicely. Which products from this line do you have?
@Hoda-wo8px2 жыл бұрын
I've got abotanical repair™ strengthening leave-in treatment Is this enough to re-bond men's hair fragile and brittle or not? How many times can it be used per week?

It definitely strengthens your hair and you can use it as often as you like, certainly after shampooing and/or conditioning, but you could reapply on non shampoo days if you like

@DeronEdward4 жыл бұрын
Luz I assume you mean the Damage Remedy line? Damage remedy uses quinoa protein to fill in the damaged areas of the hair shaft, where this strengthens at the molecular level and contains no protein, I love damage remedy but I can always feel it in my hair, Botanical Repair just feels like my hair is healthy and strong without being loaded up with product. I highly recommend you try it when it comes out 👍🏻

@@DeronEdward Yes, sorry I forgot the name of the line 😅. It is available at Sephora but I wasn't sure about which one to buy because I love my curly hair but the last couple months it has become impossible to style, and I got it bleach recently (I know, it seems like I hate my hair haha). How does the leave in compare to the damage remedy leave in? 😊 and how to use them both, just switch it up?
@DeronEdward4 жыл бұрын
I’ve always loved Hair Repair, the Botanical Repair leave in is even better! It’s a little bit more dense, but distributes really easily (and you don’t have to shake it). I would use up your damage remedy and then switch to Botanical Repair 😊

Deron, what are the active ingredients in the light intensive masque?

Aveda does not say specifically, I think there might be multiple bond multiplying elements, especially since it treats the cortex, cuticle and f layer differently. Sorry I don’t have much more insight than that.

this stuff is not good for thin hair. This has totally changed the texture of my hair for the worse. My hair is sticking up all over. My cut looks different. The ends are very dry and breaking off. Maybe this is not good for thin hair. Changed the color of my hair as well which I just spent over $300 on base and highlights. I am usually so happy with Aveda products something I thought would be conditioning my hair has made it worse and now it feels damaged. I will never have this treatment done again at the salon.
