I started using oatmeal (Aveeno) products a while back, it helped to calm down my irritated skin, it actually reduced the oil production and I had less acne.

@@TrankDuo7 For cleansing, I use either the Aveeno's Moisturizing Facial Bar or the Positively Radient 60 Second In-Shower Facial for Glowing Skin. For moisturizer, I like Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer, For Sensitive Skin. I use a SPF 46 by DRMTLGY with niacinamide.

I love the Cerave moisturizer too and I'm alternating it with the Aveeno moisturizer. When my skin gets super sensitive from over exfoliating or from acne treatment products, the Cerave actually stings my skin further. But the Aveeno would actually calm my skin down and make them not irritated anymore

I just got the oat gel moisturizer and let me say it doesn't disappoint! I have rosacea but I also have dry skin AND get acne from time to time. This doesn't seem to flair up my rosacea and doesn't cause acne. It feels so moisturizing but is light. Such a win!

Oh my lord...that Serum, with the Oat Gel Moisturizer layered on top has been an an absolute Miracle worker for my skin!! My winter skin stings, it’s dry, super sensitive, red, and just generally “bothered” by everything!! But that duo is amazing. These are the best. After washing your face, it feels like you don't even need a moisturizer. And the serum doesn't even give you any burn feeling even a single tick. The moisturizer , I feel like I don't need to use it anymore after the serum. It's the best, I can say it million times.

@@a.4963 ive been using both and they’re a bit similar but aveeno serum is lighter and more focused on soothing and hydrating (glycerin ❤️ ❤️) and the krave great barrier relief is thicker and more like a repairing light cream, less hydrating but more soothing. Together they’re an awesome combo!

SKIN SAVING PRODUCTS! 🙌🏼 Two days ago I used to much retinol and I woke up to angry, irritated skin and looked like a 🍅. After using my regular products the irritation got worse. I remembered this video and picked up the cleanser and moisturizer. I applied last night and felt instant relief and this morning my skin looks so much better. The redness is gone! I've been using the gel moisturizer and the cleanser for a few weeks and I love it!! I'm 5 months post accutane treatment, and so my skin is more sensitive and prone to dryness overall. I ran out of the hydroboost cleanser lotion and when I saw Aveeno's new line I had to get it! Also, Aveeno has another new body/face moisturizer Restorative skin therapy with pro vitamin B5! I also been using it as well and it's great! It really has improved my skin from being so dry!

I have been using this cleanser for about a week, and love it. Although I’ve used sunscreen and no b.s.moisturizers for decades (I’m 67,) I’m ashamed to say I’ve used whatever was close at hand - even dishwashing liquid - to wash my face! Horrors! My skin really looks young, but I was developing a small patch of rosacea on one of my cheeks. I decided I needed to change my cleanser. I ran into Target one day with just a few minutes to spare, saw this cleanser, and just picked it up because I’m a fan of oats in all forms. I figured it wouldn’t lather, so I wasn’t surprised when it didn’t. It felt so wonderful, and yes, calming, that I didn’t care! I still have fairly oily skin, and was worried it might break me out, but there has been no sign of that. I wear very little makeup over my sunscreen, and find that this cleanser removes everything, even my mascara very easily. I’ve been using Roc products after my shower, and enjoy them, too. However, I keep an extra jar of moisturizer with different properties than the Roc on my bedside table to put on after I drink a lot of water before I go to bed. I figure I might be covering all my bases this way! (OCD?) Although I probably won’t need the serum, I’m looking forward to picking up the moisturizer. Thank you for your reviews!

These products are AMAZING. I was using Chanel’s la solution 10 at $110 for 1.7 ounces because it was the only thing that didn’t make my very sensitive acne prone skin go haywire. I tried this on a whim and it is absolutely perfect. I swear they better never stop making it! And at the price point you cannot beat it. It’s so good I would spend double the price of what it is. I bought all 3 products through ulta and have been using them this past week. I absolutely love it so far! My face is sooo soft. I suffer from hormonal acne, ezcema and perioccular/perioral dermatitis and this is gentle enough to not flare up any of my skin issues. Just for a side note I'm on 25mg spironolactone, epiduo forte every other night and a sodium sulfacetamide lotion all prescription from my dermatologist. I was using all vanicream products, which I still love, but needed something for dry skin going into the change of season. Typically products for dry skin clog up my pores but this has been perfect for me! Thank you for reviewing and suggesting these products @drdray.

@@abigelmongin5497 no it never triggered mine. But I stopped using it because I'm allergic to beeswax, which it contains. It started making my skin look good and then I started breaking out in rashes, I went to an allergist and found out I'm allergic to beeswax, propolis and a bunch of other stuff, which sucks!. I gave my products away to my sister who also has FA and her skin is clear. So I'd say, it's worth giving it a try!

I bought the Oat gel cleanser after seeing it online for sensitive skin. I used Cera Ve and had a really bad reaction where my skin was irritated and red. This only happened when I tried Cera Ve's cleanser (the one for dry skin). I used other things in between and my skin would be fine. This cleanser is the one that my skin has no reaction to, and it feels nice. It does not remove make up, but as a second step is smells and feels wonderful. I'd recommend it if you want a nice drug store cleanser but have very sensitive, very reactive skin.

This is great! I've been using the aveeno baby eczema care (that has coloidal oat) for a long time on my baby's skin (altough she does not have eczema) and i love to use it on my face at night as a night mask :-) . So excited to try this new line when will be live in Canada too.

Ive been struggling with my skin for the better part of the last two years, went to the best dermatologists in london, spent a lot of money on them and top of the line creams like La Mer. Skin remained very bumpy and nothing was helping, not any of the products that made me better before (SA, La Roche Posay, Cerave, etc.) not any diet changes. Then I spoke with a friend whose skin was perfect and she told me her routine - gel/water based moisturiser + hyluronic acid or niacinamide + zinc AM/PM, also benzoyl peroxide as spot treatment for acne. My skin has not looked this good for years and I'm only on week 2 of this routine. It has some way to go yet, but I am already so relived that I have stopped irritating my skin. I bought this Aveeno moisturiser with oat which is very velvety and pleasant to layer with the treatments. I'm so please but I am still trying to figure out the best route out fo these products. I've noticed the best combo for me tends to be the water based moisturiser + Cerave hyluronic acid.

I'm not sure if you'll ever see this, however I feel compelled to comment and tell you that because of your recommendation of this Product, I finally after years of searching have a moisturizer and cleanser that does not sting, irritate or burn my skin. I was recommended Vanicream and had been using it for years even though the cleanser was still too harsh for my skin. I was so happy to find this, that I literally almost cried. It has been a terrible skin care journey for me, but this has already helped so much in just 2 weeks thank you! thank you! thank you! thank you!

The intro ♡ The 1st time I used oat cleanser I was shock that it doesnt produce any bubble its just like body lotion. But after washing my skin are actually smooth Oats skin care smells so yummy I amost wanna taste it ! Its so inviting. I used to put the remaining oat on my bowl on to my skin every morning before I take a bath no wasted grain :-) Avena means oat in spanish - just saying 😂

Love the Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser followed by Neutrogena Hydro Boost body gel cream on my face. Only used once so far and there is a significant improvement to my skin. I used an oil cleanser first to remove my makeup. Really soothed my raw winter skin.

I second whoever said this was amazing. I bought the gel moisturizer after she said, “if you have skin on your face...” I think in another video, and holy cow! I can’t stop touching my face! I have oily skin, and my love was Hada Labo Perfect Gel, but it was just a little too moisturizing. I use the Hada Labo Premium Lotion instead, but it needs a moisturizer over it and wow, what a combo! It calms down my acne and is perfect for any dry spots I get from my Differin. My skin just feels moist and calm. It’s amazing! Edit: since she did compare it to Neutrogena, just wanted to add that I bought both and think Neutrogena is a nice basic day moisturizer, but this has that little extra sumthin-sumthin!

After I watched this video, I went to get the calm & restore moisturizer and been using it for over a week now. I was amazed with how it helped with calming my skin from redness and peeling. I went for a walk during my lunch break that day, my skin turned red few hours after my walk even though I’ve reapplied sunscreen before I left the house and covered my face with a wide brim hat and worn my mask the whole time, so my face was pretty much covered from the UV rays. It was gloomy, overcast that day but still the UV rays burned my skin and that night my face was so warm. So, I used this moisturizer every night since then, after 2 days my skin looks better. Thank you for recommending this product. It saved my skin. 👍😊 And, ohh, I have oily skin, by the way.😊

I am currently using the moisturizer and absolutely love it! I like how my skin feels. I suffer from atopic dermatitis, and when I have a flare-up, I first turn to my other Aveeno products before my medication. Previouly steroids topical ointment worked quickly but with long term use it cause my skin to develop thick and textured patches on my face and my eyelids. My dermatologist has switched me to non-steroids ointments and it works but I don't want to rely on medication alone, I now seek gentler ingredients. I have been living with sensitive skin issues for twenty-five years!! I turn to over the counter skincare products to help reduce and calm my flare-ups. The Aveeno calm and restore line is a life saver! I highly recommend it!

I used the moisturizer previously and I honestly love it. Just ordered it again along with the cleanser and serum due to irritation from a harsher daily cleanser for people whom suffer from oily skin. I just used because of all these hot days and this heavy vitamin c cream I use felt as though my face was clogged or just dirty by the end of a long day. Just wasn't a great idea for my sensitive skin. Can't wait to heal my face. 💯🥰

I have dehydrated, rosacea skin so usually use a super thick balm or cream to keep my cheeks from getting tight and flakey. My skin just sucks in anything I use and I need to reapply constantly. So honestly I didn’t have high hopes for this line. But I heard such good reviews so I spent the $30CAD on the serum and boy was I wrong. This serum is incredible!! Keeps my dehydrated cheeks moisturized. In addition, I mix two drops with my liquid foundation and my foundation doesn’t dry out during the day. It also helps with the redness which is rare! It also feels amazing on my eyelids when I’m having an ocular rosacea flare up and doesn’t sting. Love love love it! Thanks Dr Dray you are wonderful. Love your videos!

this oat moisturizer is just a new version of their "Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Nourishing Night Cream" except that one has ceramide as well towards the end of the ingredient list (in addition to the oat kernel flour extract) whereas this one doesn't have the ceramide and has a bit of centella extract towards the end instead (in addition to the oat kernel flour extract). the ingredients list is almost identical and that other one has been on the market for years this is exactly the type of stuff aveeno has been coming out with forever, they have over a dozen products with their "triple oat complex" that have existed for years, it's just that their packaging has always been considered "ugly"/basic and didn't appeal to the millennial/gen z demographic so they're basically just doing the same thing they've always done with with slightly better packaging. see also their new "skin therapy balm", which is basically a new version of a product that they already have 8 different versions of but in a nicer looking tube. i guess the marketing trick of using slightly more ~aesthetic packaging to appeal to us young people is working, but yeah there's really nothing new about the formulation of the products. they were doing the oat thing way before it was trendy, that's what their brand was based on from day 1. aveeno comes from avena sativa which is the latin term for oat lmao. sorry for the long comment, i just find it funny that whatever their obviously new marketing team is doing seems to be working and they're getting more hype instead of just being seen as a "boring drugstore brand" that people gloss over

I do enjoy their new cleanser and moisturizer. I want to try their serum. There's a couple of body products I tried from them and it burned. Idk why. But like anything else, they're hit or miss.

The gel moisturizer and eczema cream are amazing. My skin’s appearance has changed dramatically since I started using these products. I use the eczema cream on the parts of my face that are a bit dryer like cheeks and under eyes and the gel moisturizer on my chin where I tend to break out and are more oily. I haven’t had a break out since! I am going to try the face cleanser and the body cleanser.

I have both rosacea and eczema. I never had it between my fingers but this year has been especially stressful, so now i find myself scratching my hands. This line is a saver. I love the serum the most. It's my favourite serum of all time. The whole line is really good. I'm not as much of a fan of the gel moisturizer as I am of the actual cream moisturizer but overall, well done Aveeno!!!! The serum is better than Genefique or any other.

I took notes on your colloidal oatmeal video (one of my absolute favorites of your videos) and have been using the Aveeno 100% colloidal oatmeal bath treatment to make a face wash. I also mix it with a little glycerin and add it to my Vanicream Moisturizing Cream. I love it! I have rosacea and colloidal oatmeal calmed an healed my skin like nothing else other than the usual prescription drugs. I am excited to try this new Aveeno Calm + Restore line. The moisturizer may be too light. I am a person with rosacea and dry skin, so heavy cream and ointments are my best friends.

I have rosacea and dry skin too!! I just might try out your face wash recipe!! It’s so hard finding products that don’t make my redness worse than it already is. There’s a ton I’d like to try but I can’t cause of the fragrance and denatured alcohol lol. It’s in the 30 dollar range but the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream has colloidal oatmeal listed as one of the first ingredients and it’s super rich. I love it but want to find something with the oatmeal that’s more affordable and also a heavier cream.

@@Renee-zy6oy The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream looks really good but my skin is so sensitive and it has Eucalyptus extract in it which would really burn. It's also pretty expensive for me. Have you tried Aveeeno Eczema Therapy Balm 1% colloidal oatmeal. Dr Dray suggests it in her colloidal oatmeal video. I love it! I worry that it has benzyl alcohol in it which I know is mild, and I don't have a sensitivity to it that I know of. Just to be safe I use it on my body to avoid possible sensitivity to my rosacea.

@@shanstereo7022 yeah I forgot that eucalyptus extract is generally not suitable for rosacea. It's never bothered me in this cream though and my skin is extremely sensitive so I may just not be as sensitive to it as other people with rosacea. :) If anything the first aid beauty cream has actually helped my redness lol. But yes, it's expensive and I have heard of that cream by Aveeno but have not tried it yet!! I will definitely have to give it a go, thanks girl!! Btw I actually went to Walmart the other day and got some of the Aveeno's colloidal oatmeal bath stuff and purchased glycerin and am going to try it tonight mixed with some of my Vanicream lotion!! I'm excited lol

The aveeno eczema therapy cream is a heavier lotion with similar ingredients to the oat gel moisturizer. I find it very moisturizing when I use a tiny bit on wet skin.
