MakingMadBeats yeah, you bring the front barrier of the sample towards the end as if you’re editing everything out; you click process, and then fade out. Next bring the front barrier back to it’s original position and you’re gucci.

Well, if you're looking for ideas, here's what I need to do right now... I have a reference track for a song I want to cover. It can load that off SD card. What I want to do is two-fold: 1) use it as an audio track so I'm laying my stuff over the reference track until I no longer need it on (I know how to do that with an audio track), but 2) and this is the part I don't know: how to take that *same* sample, and slice out several elements of the percussion to take them as samples, save those samples separately, to the point I can assign them into a drum program on pads. That's the part I don't know how to do, is slice & dice to get just the parts I need, and save only those parts for re-use. You do good videos, man. Very helpful for someone who just got the unit!

Dope. have you tried pad parameters instead of non destructive ? it allows you to make adjustments to individual pads opposed to the entire program. and the warp was not on or engaged that's why it sounded that way. you have to go in and manually select warp. 14:07 try that out incase you haven't figured that part as yet. #KeepBangin! Peace!

An unrelated but important point for anyone trying to edit or move a sample or recording placed on the Audio track timeline is how to 'micro adjust' positioning of the audio on the timeline (similar to Ave here in his video in Sample Edit mode). You can use the Q link buttons but if its not adjusting as fine or as small increments you want then you gotta change settings. This was not obvious to me at all. First go back and turn off TC. Then come back and change settings to adjust using TC. Now the Qlinks will move the audio timeline in tiny increments.
