8:55 Hey Nikki, something else that was interesting is that Mike Portnoy was offered to appear in the video for the performance scenes, but he'd declined, feeling like it was too soon after Rev's passing for him to appear in the video, but he did temporarily replace Rev when they'd went on tour

Hey, Nikki, in reference to the creepiness of the music video. They shot the video in an old mental hospital because they were paying homage Rev's favorite movie, Jacob's Ladder, in addition to paying tribute to Rev, who had written the drum parts for the song, but hadn't recorded them before he'd died. Plus, there's a number of Easter eggs that served as callbacks to music videos the band had done before Rev's death, such as Zacky Vengeance ballroom dancing with the skeleton and the tarantula crawling on Rev's practice drum kit (a callback to The Afterlife Music Video) or the priest who was walking beside the gurney that M. Shadows was on(a callback to "Seize The Day")

Glad this got through copyright in time for the season. lol. One of my favorite A7X songs. R.I.P. "The Rev" Yes, Mike Portnoy finished the recording on the album, and did some of the tour for the album, He is an oustanding drummer, and one of the ones that The Rev was influenced by. If interested in checking out Dream Theater after Rocktober, they are prog metal btw, suggest "Pull Me Under" or "Metropolis Part 1".
