@ezramotz1995 Жыл бұрын
@@rafelneo yeah you could interpret it that way too, except the only thing about that is people with tinnitus tend to experience more of a constant buzzing/ringing/droning/humming type of noise. But not all of them hear the same thing or those exact types of sound examples I listed above…it varies from person to person, so yeah it’s possible that is indeed what he meant when he said that. Either way, it’s still him being funny with his unique brand of dry humor, nonetheless. Gotta love The Gates!!

Thanks for doing this song in this series, it easily fights for the top spot, in my head, as my absolute favorite by you guys. After hearing the new single Nobody it just solidified what I was thinking when The Stage came out.. Brooks isn't just the new drummer of A7X, he's apart of the family. I love how you guys are continually pushing yourselves as not only musicians, but having the vision for a certain texture, idea, feel of a song, and executing it. All of that is only getting better, and better, and better. Exist is a perfect example of this, and having Brooks in the family is helping to push the whole band to think in new and innovative ways for the band.

They tried the mentor, the student but in the end, went with the rival! Comparing Brooks to the Rev, while both have an insane level of technical skill and range, those things are on the surface. There is a different kind of fire underneath, for each of them. While I do miss the Rev's influence, I don't think the band ever even had a chance of replacing him, at best it would have been an imitation. Instead they went with something new and different, I think Brooks was an excellent choice and a great addition to the band! That's a common theme with A7X, their albums always seem to end with some kind of extremely complex musical masterpiece fit to end a career (Exist, Save Me, M.I.A. etc), usually a top 3 song on the album.
