I completely disagree because if you can play super fast but it sounds like garbage, you aren't that good. For me what makes the "best guitarist" is your melodic knowledge and capabilities, ability to solo, and just sounding good.

To hear this song live and see the Rev up on the big screen is so emotional. Although he is gone, he is never forgotten. They still have his voice singing his parts in concert. To hear the Rev's voice echo through the stadium still is unbelievable. It's a very emotional concert for us fans. If you notice too Synyster's guitar says REV in it instead of SYN.

I lost my parents 6 days apart, this was the song I went to after my dad died. They have such strength, such grace to carry on as they did and honour Jimmy by living their best lives and it was such a comfort. I love this song despite it making me cry every time particularly when I get the chance to see them play live. They will always be my heart

I remember seen the revs death announcement on the news when it happened.. a close friend of mine was sitting next to me and she cried very much.. as much as I did..it was horrible.. such a great person taken sooo early 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A7X was my and my best friend Mark’s favorite band. We both bonded and cried over the death of Jimmy when we were 16-17. Mark and I were fortunate enough to see A7X together 4 times, the last time being 4 months before Mark passed away. His family asked me to give his eulogy, carry his casket, and pick all of the music for his funeral. Obviously I made sure this song was played. I miss him so much and every time I hear this song, I ball like a baby for my friend.

This song was very emotional and made me cry when I first heard it. It still is. I'm a metalhead who loves sad bands, but most of the time I'm blasting death metal. A7X is 15 year old high school memories for me, and I still love them.

It's Shadows singing but Brian ( Syn ) does sing back up harmonies and vocals along with Zach during live shows for other songs. I don't know if anyone else sings in this one live or not, but in general Shadows is the only voice you hear on the studio tracks unless you listen to older songs when Jimmy was still with us, he was on studio tracks as well with vocals.
