Yess!! If you liked this, you need to hear more Avenged Sevenfold. This song is pretty much a deep cut, and they have many hidden gems like this one. What I like about it is that it's intense, but chill at the same time, great vocals, and also the solo guitar accompanying the voice melodies so smoothly. I would suggest you check out more of their non-singles catalogue. Songs like The Wicked End, Coming Home, or Acid Rain.

Matt Shadows is definitely one of the best singers ever. I saw them live and they’re great live too. Slipknot is great live too.

Cornell and Shadows both had the same vocal coach, Ron Anderson. They both use the compression belting technique while both being baritones, it creates a lot of melodic grit in belting and even in belting screaming.

One of my favorite A7X songs ever! This album has a very dark vibe in general, the drummer died a year or so before the album dropped and they brought in Mike Portnoy to finish the drum tracks because that was his idol as a drummer, he was in the band for over 10 years when he overdosed RIP Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan

The nightmare is a dark album because of the passing of their drummer "The Rev". He died prior to this album being recorded, but helped write some songs on this album. The song "Fiction", from this album was written by the Rev 3 days before he passed. Features his demo vocals with M Shadows singing along side him. The album had a lot of changes because of the grieving.

They were in deep mourning when they were recording this album. We were shocked when the Rev passed in shocking circumstances (fell off a roof) but were heartbroken when we found out he had drugs and alcohol in his system. Lips of deceit is my favourite but so many great songs, bat country, trashed and scattered, beast and the harlot. A little piece of heaven has a great video but probably not suitable for you to review due to the subject matter but a great one to watch on your own time.
