I have another a7x request for ya, the song's called "Higher" it's from their 2nd last album which is more proggy, but man I have to say it's the most powerful song they've ever made, in terms of just the epic yet beautiful, kind of cosmic (not the song, just floating in space) feeling. The last 4 songs of the stage in general are GREAT and weird songs. My fav album of theirs.

@@cfg1991Likewise! I have to say at first when the album dropped I really wasn't into to these songs, I even found roman sky boring lol. Now that I'm not a teenager anymore and I'm growing bored of every metal song being the same and I want more variety and experimentation I LOVE this kind of thing.

This is my favorite A7X song. Lost my little brother to OD a few years ago and this song really hits home. They don't play it live and I can only suspect that's because of the slightly angry undertones of the song. To me it feels a bit like the anger stage of grieving a loss. A bit of a why did you do this and why did you lave me alone.

I could be wrong, but I think the high pitch vocals at the beginning and end of the song was actually The Rev (their drummer that passed not long before the release of the album). As there is a lot of tonal qualities to the vocals that remind me of The Rev's ability to go into insanely high pitches and make himself sound feminine but there's also certain notes he hits within the melodies at the start and end that sound masculine, albeit at a higher pitch than most males can reach. Otherwise, this was a great reaction. Love seeing you check out more Avenged Sevenfold aha. Keep it up! Can't wait to see more from you!

I think I remember an interview that I watched of the band, right after the album was released, the band said it was Johnny Christ, their bass player, that sang those high parts. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

@@angelaleader-alford6905 Might be a possibility. I can't comment on that though as I'm not 100% sure, having only head Johnny Christ's singing voice once which was at their Live at the LBC Show. But I do feel like The Rev's voice and style fits the vocals that I mentioned in my original comment more. But as I said, without actual evidence it's anyone's guess.

Man, i hate a7x sometimes, cause they keep on playing the exact same songs over and over again live, and they completely forget about other awesome songs like this, wich btw, is probably my favorite song.
