It would be easy for me to talk about the big moments but my favorite is the scene where Nebula and Tony are playing football on the ship, she wins and Tony says something like "good game, you won fair and square" and shakes her hand, I was so happy for her because she never won anything, she always lost to Gamora so that's why Thanos turned her into a cyborg, but then the look on her face and how Nebula acted in those couple seconds afterwards ripped my heart out and stomped on it because you realize she has no idea how to react to winning, no idea what to do when something good happens to her because nothing ever has, Thanos didn't just take her physical body but took her soul and spirit and didn't even need to use the Soul Stone to do it, systematically chipping away at those things until there was nothing left in Nebula, that was so heart breaking for me to watch her have no clue how to react to winning something and then a getting a kind gesture afterwards, for me that's when they told us who Thanos really is, well done writers and directors, well done

Character development was such a vital part of this movie and it made the final act that much epic and memorable. Tony Stark meeting his father was probably one of the most crucial scenes because this is where I think he had the epiphany that he may need to sacrifice his own life to save everyone especially his own daughter. Hence, he created the gauntlet using the same nano-tec as his suit so he could transfer the stones to his own suit when needed to. And I loved Thor's character arc, it made it that much more relatable as I've been in a dark place like where he has in this movie.

Thor cutting off the head was his breaking line. Even his voice broke when he said 'I aimed for the head.' He's lost for like 3 movies straight. This was his final hope gone and he spiraled into PTSD. That's really what the weight and the drinking was about. It was a joke for a second, then you see how shattered he is for the rest of the film.

For Joe, you are right. I did not catch it the first time, but on my 2nd viewing I felt the same way that there was not enough grieving for Black Widow and the funeral at the end should have been for both Tony Stark & Natalia Romanova, 2 of the 6 original core Avenger members.

the first time I watched Endgame, I did think fat Thor was a joke and I laughed at most of those scenes. Then I read some of the social media commentary about the character and how very 'real' it was for Thor to be suffering from PTSD and guilt and turning to food and alcohol to try and ease those pains. It's something that happens to us humans on a very regular basis and makes the character very relate-able. When I saw Endgame the second time, the Thor scenes made me well-up and sometimes cry for him and everything he's been through, it's not funny at all if you are able to watch with a different opinion......if that makes sense.....

That moment between Tony and his father Howard was sweet because it was the first warm moment Tony has experienced with his father. While they do allude to Howard's love for Tony through several movies, he's always been portrayed as a cold father. At the beginning of Civil War when Tony is addressing MIT, they definitely show why Tony struggles from never having felt warmth from his father his entire life. In Endgame, he finally feels it. And we feel it also which makes the moment so so so sweet.

Also Fat Thor was basically suffering from PTSD, man essentially had a breakdown and escapist humour was his only coping mechanism. As the leader of the Asgardian army, he knew death but knowing death on that scale, and the loss he has suffered must have added up. And I think Raven means that, even though we all realize how much Tony's dad did love him, just not in the traditional way, Tony finally got to realize it. He may have already realized it, to a degree, when he became a dad, but was really able to verbalize it and make peace with it when he got to see his dad face to face, from the past. He got to see that even though his dad didn't express love like most other dads, the love he got from his dad was 100% of the type of love his dad was capable of giving. Raven, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I felt about that scene too.

If that place was within a galactic jurisdiction or a universal one, that had laws against such a lethal assault, then murder charges may be applied to the situation. 🤔. Otherwise, it looked like a lawful combat death to me. Like when a SEAL team took out that bearded guy that was hiding from us. Only those on his side, would deem killing him a, "murder". 🧐

In #AvengersInfinityWar we saw the rise of #Thanos. And in Endgame we see his fall. And both were a masterpiece! I initiated a massive round of applause in the audeince when T'Challa & Shuri returned from oblivion. And screamed, "Wakanda Forever!" And I also was the catalyst for the second highest round of applause when #TonyStark was the last Avenger shown in the ending credits. And it was so beautiful to see and hear everyone in my theater show such love and appreciation for how much Robert Downey Jr. gave of himself to Marvel Studios. The Russo Brothers & Kevin Feige gave RDJ and #IronMan the heroes farewell that he deserves!

My question is if their time travel resulted in nothing from the last 5 years being unchanged, to preserve Tony's present, then how would the world's infrastructure cope with suddenly 50% of all life being brought back immediately It's going to be chaos

Guys I love your review but the avengers weren't going after thanos for revenge. They were going after thanos to get the stones to bring everybody back. It was only after they realized the stones were gone that they got revenge.

Wait, if our cap traveled to the time where Young cap saved america in 1945 where is Young captain america? Is he still Frozen? And i know 2012 captain america is still Young same as 2013 and 2014 etc cause its all a loop and the past cant change the future, but where tf is Frozen 1945 captain america in 2023?

staggering beauty , ok so remember when hulk said “you can’t change the past because if you go to the past that’s your future then the future becomes your past” well basically there’s only the one Steve in 2023. Because of that rule.

Victoria Que i know but when they traveled back in 2012 there were 2 iron mans and 2 captain america's and 2 hulks, the one of our time and the other one is the past version, so if you travel back in time your Younger self doesnt go away he is still there, so the Young captain america is still somewhere then, right?

Ok, so being that the Ancient One says the stones need to be returned to keep their timelines from being negatively affected by their absence. What does this mean for the present timeline in the movie since all the stones have been destroyed? Would that mean that there would be some sort of repercussion for them not existing in their timeline? 🤯🤯🤯
@geling101
@geling101 5 жыл бұрын
Aj Matarrita maybe when the ancient one said that the stones' existence is important to protect their reality from evil she meant thanos and since "our timeline" is solving a thanos problem, it means the stones have no purpose anymore?

I have a complaint but it isn't a negative about the movie. Initially it was impossible for a human to hold an infinity stone in their hand without dying. But a few mortal here hold the stones with no effect.
