The relationship between gamora & thanos was 100% the best part of the movie, it was so deep and fucked up but fascinating. I was honestly moved.

It was amazing how economical this film was considering all the characters and subplots. That was maybe 6 minutes of screen time for her but felt like a defining part of the quest. Really pivotal moments to get you maybe 2 percent sympathy for Thanos considering what he planned to do.

Infinity War took the MCU's biggest weaknesses and made them a strength in this movie. Great villain performance, no distracting overdone humor, enough action, and actually didn't have the happy ending, we have all grown accustomed to from a marvel film. Add this to the pulling off a nearly impossible task of balancing the movie and it's huge cast of heroes, settings, and emotions, and it easily makes this arguably one the best superhero movie of all time. When a movie can make you laugh, cry, and leave you in suspense all in a matter of minutes, you know you have something great there. Just my opinion.

NERD SOUP, My first experience with ur channel was a couple years ago, a GOT review. Ive returned more and more frequently until season 7 i watched every one of ur GOT vids. I think i put my finger on why I (and maybe others as well?) really enjoy ur vids. The well developed thoughts on seemingly every interesting topic, the tid bits extra info that helps us understand the inter-workings of characters, enthusiasm and a feeling yall genuine love the subject matter (etc.) Is all obvious and blatantly apparent within the first few minutes of watching any of ur vids. What seperates yall is top notch quality content (+ all above) with NO RUSHING or the feeling that ur cutting corners to just get out content. No speed talking or just giving enough info to make u seem informed. It feels like im talking on the phone with my friends who knows alot more about GOT or the MCU and im just soaking it all in.. I'm pretty confident that Tony Stark's mind is going to be of use to defeat Thanos in the next movie and Strange saw that in the future. When he said to "spare his life," I think that included the 1/2 universe thing as well, which is why he didn't fade away. He didn't have a choice but to give the stone.

The finger snap was random. He didn't pick the people that he killed. Strange knew that Stark would live if he spared him in that moment because he saw the future.

People seem to forget that Stark is strong enough to control the gauntlet. It might be what Strange saw, in some weird team up as the gauntlet gets separated from Thanos, Stark can pick it up and end him.
@hudaashkar46576 жыл бұрын
It's in the comics. Tony uses the gauntlet to send away a guy named (The Hood) then separates the stones between 6 heroes and creates The Illuminati, a secret society that protects the stones, which I think is a possibility after all the dust from the Infinity War settles... that or Wanda destroys all the stones.

All of you do realize that Dr. Strange could have stopped Starlord if he wanted.. It's part of the endgame. Just getting the gauntlet off right there on Titan, wasn't part of any succesful 14 million possibilities. He had to freak out, Tony had to live, and Thanos had to win.

Nebula could've gotten a hold of it and went batshit crazy like she did in the comic. I think he knew he had to ask him to spare Stark's life because Stark IS the key. Strange bluntly told him that any action he would take is to protect the stone and wouldn't give a rat's ass if he died, the fact that he did save him means that Stark the only way to return the stone and gauntlet. Tony might end up using the gauntlet, the comics already showed him using it and surviving.

If you noticed 3 that survived, stark, thor, and nebula they were spared for infinity stones during the movie. Also if dr strange knew only 1 outcome would make it, why didn't he just give thanos the stone and avoid the fight. Its like he had to wait till stark was about to be killed before he could give it up. Maybe the stones in a way get tied to the souls of the lives that were spared for them.

Why didn’t doctor strange use his portal magic to open a portal around thanos’s arm when he is “sleeping” and then close it to cut that gauntlet off
@badgasaurus42116 жыл бұрын
Brendan Conant The only thing that I can think of is that Thanos had the Space Stone and so maybe if space (Strange’s portal) was about to directly influence him (like cutting his arm off) he could stop it because he can control space. Honestly I’m not sure and when you have so many crazy powers interacting like in this film, it is very hard to figure out what overrides what.
@Tomgd4206 жыл бұрын
Could be too it Simply needs the space to open Sure you could open it 5 feet away and hope you can drag him to it and his arm thru it but idk seems really unlikely and Thanos would of probably killed them all for thinking about it.

You can't make that prediction. This is Marvel. They can write back whoever they want, and they usually do. I almost wish the extended deaths scene wasn't included. It was fine, but Thanos emphasized how immediate the deaths would be, and I felt that a number of the deaths could have been more impactful if they simply disappeared. I wouldn't change Peter's death (Because wow, my heart), but I think it could have been quite impactful if we didn't see every character crumbling into dust.

A lot of the rumors, set photos, and some scenes in the trailers were deliberate misdirects to prevent as many film spoilers as possible. They even gave the actors fake scripts to prevent them from accidentally spoiling certain plot points. That's some serious dedication considering how much time, effort, and expense was necessary to do it. It's also pretty ballsy because there will be quite a few people who won't understand what was done and will complain because certain scenes in the trailer and some rumors won't appear in the film. This, despite the fact that the Russos and some of the actors have been hinting at or outright telling us about the misdirects for months.

I agree with you guys...the starlord mess up was like one of those puzzle pieces that look right and are the right shape but aren't the right one...really. I think if they had made it thanos being snapped out of it by his own emotions over what he sees as something he had to do and in that moment...i could elaborate more on this but i do not make long comments.

I think all deaths are deaths before or after the snap it makes no difference . I think the real deaths are going to happen in part 2 and those deaths will pay for the lives of all that died before. I have a feeling that one soul will be needed to pay the price but it will cost two lives and one of those lives is not an Avenger.

Age of Ultron was a frustrating movie because They made bullets hit Quicksilver They made Ultron a comedian They used the same formula as Avengers Assemble basically a kid friendly movie Where as this movie is for Adults and then children

I absolutely loved this movie, but when you guys were talking about the Vision and Scarlet Witch relationship it dawned on me that the writers gave Scarlet Witch kind of a cop out by killing her in the end and now she won't have to overcome her decision to kill Vision in Avengers 4. Just my thoughts, love your videos too btw.

I’ve always had issues with the MCU, but honestly, this movie blew me away with how good it was. I think the best decision they made was to focus on Thanos and his relationship with Gamora. Easily the best part for me. I did have issues with the pacing, and there were moments that irked me, but ultimately, they weren’t enough to bring this movie down. Definitely a 9 for me.

The cgi on the hulk buster suit was weak. Especially that ending scene. That was my only cgi complaint.

If you pay attention to the end of Ragnarok...you can see the ship Thor stole from Grandmaster on the top of the bigger ship they fled Asgard in...thats what Korg and Valkyrie most likely got away in...the party shuttle that they went through the Devil's Anus in....

The reason you didn't know it was Red Skull right away is because it didn't look like him. Because it wasn't Hugo Weaving. It was Ross Marquand, who is Aaron in The Walking Dead.

Might be weird but I expected Ghost Rider and or Mafisto to maybe make an appearance in this movie. Felt like it made sense to make them appear now with everything happening and allow for more mystic like characters other than Doctor Strange.

Haven't listened to the podcast yet so I don't know if you addressed it, but I think the ending would have been much more powerful with Thanos looking up at the sunset, fade to black, sound cuts out, and credits start with no music. Similar to dramatic/sad endings of some GoT episodes (red wedding, Hodor, etc.). The music playing right at the start of the credits takes away a bit from the powerful ending.

Maybe even not do an end credit scene. Let the audience willow in their pain and sadness.

Dr. Strange should’ve pushed Thanos’ astro form out of his physical form so Spider-Man and Iron-Man could rip the gauntlet off

No one is truley dead in Marvel. There is always some way that they are brought back, except for Genis Vell for some reason. I'd love to see his crazy ass come back. Top 5 favorite over powered Marvel Character.

I sobbed hysterically when Spiderman died and I had to cover my mouth with both hands to keep myself from making too much noise in the movie theater. I couldn't even speak, I was so sad and heart broken. I'm STILL not over it! Help

My theory for Guardians 3 is them trying to get Gamora out of the soul realm. At the end of Infinity war u see Thanos conversing to her in this realm. Adam Warlock is arleady connected to the soul realm in the comics so it makes sense that he would be a major character in the movie.

The showed the Mould of Gauntlet at the Dwarf foundary. There has to be reason for it. Also same time current Gauntlet is roasted. So Stones are fine. Captain Marvel helps with the stones, and new Gauntlet is made. That would help me return the snap event. Also Gamora is exchange for stone, if the stones later are broken as they are dangerous so probably Gamora returns too..

Avengers 4 would probably be called “Avengers: The Next Avengers” or something similar, because marvel wants to move forward with new characters and older characters in the background.

This film is not only the greatest comic book film of all time, but one of the greatest films I've ever experienced period. I have never in my life been repeatedly hyped to see a film and still had my expectations blown away like I did with this movie. The suspenseful scenes are gripping, the humor lands almost perfectly, and the action scenes are some of the best I've ever experienced, and the acting was superb. Thanos will go down as one of the greatest villains in cinematic history. Also shout out to Aaron for always giving a 9.2 to whatever he watches. Consistency is key lol MCU films ranked in my opinion: 1. Avengers: Infinity War 2. Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Thor: Ragnarok 4. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 5. Captain America: Civil War 6. Doctor Strange 7. Black Panther 8. Iron Man
