I'm not really digging the way Aldo makes his weird trailers as of late. He started experimenting with this more tedious style starting with his suicide squad trailer and it hasn't stopped since. What made Aldo's trailers so great to begin with was how he was able to upend and subvert our expectations with impressive and comically appropriate edits without breaking the pace of the original trailer itself. Everything had a seamless flow, making for this cohesive yet absurdist take on what was originally a dramatic and thrill-inducing trailer. Now we're seeing a trend where all his trailers have increased with duration and with that, the feeling of them being drawn out and less perspicaciously put together. The pacing of the trailers get interrupted almost every 20 seconds with some overblown edit, "de-syncing" the trailer from its original pace. His batman v superman and X-men Apocalypse trailers were great specifically because they adhered to his older editing philosophy. While his new stuff have some funny moments, they just aren't as well done as his original stuff. I respect his craft and his desire to give his trailers larger scope and scale but i don't know if this is the best direction. Hell, maybe it's just me

@Rasmus Madsen I don't get all that hyped for his trailers like i used to. There seems to be a crowd that likes the new direction of his trailers but perhaps he could split the difference by using both approaches interchangeably. Maybe one trailer has his old style and another this newer style, that way he pleases both crowds
