Earth X was WAY too depressing IMO..I enjoyed it at the time but rereading it recently made me realize how HARD the writer tried to make it EXTRA dark..

I think they were very inspired by kingdom come and the dark Knight returns. All the heroes being older or dead. A very thin line between evil and good. Captain America is the Batman of this story coming out of retirement to kick some ass

Great series. It's DKR in terms of setting/execution but still KC in message. I'm scratching my head a bit on Tony and Janet being a thing though. It's funny how Red Skull called Thor an Aryan prince, and lastly I guess my biggest complaint is how this story could have used some more issues. Additional notes: I do like Loki's little development. Now that you mention it, the Wasp ring plot was definitely rushed and contrived, it could have been set up and explained better, and lastly I'm a bit disappointed with the use of Hulk in this comic. The entire comic Hulk is set up as this big threat, the main weapon of the Ultron enhanced villains, Red Skull even says Hulk is the main reason for why it's called H-Day. Only for Thor to solo Hulk. Now it does make sense that Thor can solo The Hulk, it wouldn't be the first time, but for the story's sake it just didn't work and feels more like another example of the story just being too big for six issues. Also Thor killing Hulk via drowning just doesn't stick right with me. I'm cool with clean and unbloody kills but surely there was a clean kill better than just drowning Hulk.

There's SOOOO many OP heroes even just in New York alone in The Marvel Universe that I just can't believe that this kind of story would or could ever happen like it could in DC. Which is a BIG reason for me of why this story DOESN'T work for me but Kingdom Come does. Like seriously, after threats like Galactus or Knull or even the heroes fighting amongst themselves a few times, we're seriously supposed to believe that ULTRON broke the entire world like this? And then RED SKULL happened to get the drop on ULTRON??? Even in the Animated Movie 20 years where Ultron won and killed almost everyone it made no sense at all there either. But at least there the story was *actually* about the next generation of heroes with the story being about the children of all the combined heroes and stuff. This one just feels like a blatant copy of Kingdom Come without any of the knowledge or abilities to replecate how and why Kingdom Come worked and was so incredible.

Not very good. The pacing is rushed, the social commentary feels at least a decade behind, at least in how its discussed within the comic, and it feels like there's some kind of political messaging within, but I can't decipher what it is. Like, what is it trying to say with Red Skull, aka, the Saturday-morning cartoon nazi expe? It feel like it leans both ways, but isn't really sure what its trying to say. Not to mention, it just has nowhere the scope and scale that 'Kingdom Come' had

Sir this is not Marvel version of Kingdom Come Marvel did that story first and the painter/writer on that was contracted by DC to do Kingdom Come to compete Marvels is called Earth X and Paradise X its a two oart series and its better than Kingdom Come wow anybody can go around and call themselves a comic book expert now and make a youtube not knowing what they're talking about

It’s a book that is set in the future of the Marvel universe featuring old heroes, comparable to how Kingdom Come or Dark Knight Returns is set in the future of the DCU. That’s all I’m saying. But yes there is Earth X too. It’s just a comparable to get people to watch who have no idea WTF Avengers Twilight is about.
