"DIXIE" is the correct term for taxiway D at KATL since the airport is a Delta hub, saying "Delta" would get confusing. It's the big taxiway that goes right by your tower and between the international ramps.

I work as a ramp agent for Delta at KFWA and the other day I was de-icing a plane and had the radio to contact the pilots. I was saying the de-ice truck's call sign was M-A-M-A. They were all so confused.

If they took out the slewing stuff, allowed the f-18s to have functional missiles, and made crashes realistic, this would be the best thing ever. These videos are endlessly entertaining, but it could be so much better if by the end of the session there were smouldering wrecks with fire and rescue vehicles all over the field.

There was a restaurant down at Republic Airport, on Long Island (NY), called the 56th Fighter Group. It was setup like a partially bombed out French Chateau. Lots of 1940s style music playing, and WWII style vehicles and some aircraft around it. It was right on the side of the runway, so at night, you could see all the taxiway lights and such out the windows. They also had a row of seats with headphones so you could listen in on the live tower audio from the tower nextdoor. It would have been funny to replace that audio with your FSX Tower dialogue. heh.
