Playing until you can't play the "easiest" part in the song or the part you say is the "easiest", even though it's not, but you somehow did it correctly on the first few tries and so now you call it the easiest loud enough so your wife can hear, even though she isn't listening at all. @@jnashb Right!? My wife doesn't get guitar. She doesn't care about it in the slightest, but she's a great vocalist. I can rip off some vai, johnson, andy james, or recently polyphia (practicing those hybrid riffs that seem to be in every new-style song now; the most practice I've had with those previously was playing Dover) and she just doesn't care. @@doronbroitman26 I have gone with the “Gruv Gear FretWraps String Muter 1-Pack (Black, Medium) (FW-1PK-MD)” thus far and they haven’t done me wrong yet! I honestly haven’t tried a ton of different brands but I assume they are pretty similar for the most part. Just keep them clear from your pups if you have any.. they seem to think they are a chew-toy.. lol

Schecter has seriously been stepping up their game. I used to have a weird vendetta against them but the past couple years they’ve been bringing the heat fr fr. Especially now that they make quality affordable MS 8 strings
