Pentatonix should be okay, but that has to be a hard life when you can’t make personal plans without clearing it with at least 4 other people. And every band eventually gets “sticky” with personality conflicts and romances. Not saying that happened with Pentatonix, but I can certainly imagine how it might. It’s amazing that Pentatonix has been so unique and successful for so very long. I wish them continued success.

Really tough on Pentatonix. One of their first songs since avi's departure, the Mr Grinch cover, didn't really do anything for me. At least they still have K.O. I don't think I'll ever forget the radioactive cover with Kevin on the cello, and Lindsey Stirling on the violin. I sure hope they don't flop.

As good as Pentatonix is, and they are good, I always felt Avi's voice got buried and lost in that quintet. Now, though, I see how brilliant, moving, refreshing and genuine his sound is and how much we will all learn to appreciate his solo career. Kudos and thanks Avi.

It is known as "The Granite City" as many of the buildings are made from this rock which is sourced nearby. Unfortunately there aren't many cactus growing there and not much desert either. @@anapm2927 I know what you mean. There is a lake system in a place called Kangaroo Valley, 3 hours south of where I grew up. I went canoeing there as a young teen and have yearned to go back ever since. If I return, part of me wonders whether I'll feel the nostalgia of the place, or just create a new memory.
