Thanks very much! That's something I like doing on my travels - if I know there's an air museum somewhere nearby, I will hunt it out and get there!

Keep it up. It gives people like me an opportunity to see some we may never otherwise get to.

If it's more aviation museums you're looking for, I've got ones from Switzerland, Austria, Czechia and the UAE still to come to the channel!

I don't have a channel, but, I went to the Egyptian Air Museum in Cairo, and, it's great. Well done. The exhibits are sparkling clean, Egytpt is really proud of their aviation heritage. Very wonderful exhibits, a just eye-poppingly gorgeous & darn near perfecct Mig-21, plus lots of very clean Sukhois outside. And the helicopters, too! Even a very very early 1980s F-16. So wonderful! Consider going to the pyramids, but don't miss that museum.

I had heard there was some aircraft on display at the Citadel in Cairo, but I wasn't aware there was a separate aviation museum near the airport - thanks for the information!

@@traveldan1 No, I know the Citadel area very well, no aircraft there. Take a good islamic guide and don't miss that area, tho, but, do NOT miss the Egyptian Air Museum. I like your videos, I 100% promise you that it would be worth a special visit for your channel. In fact I would absolutely enjoy your narration style as you walk through the museum. You would very much enjoy it. And it's nice, it's not just "outdoors," either. They have a densly-packed and highly-interactive area inside. LMK if you ever go!

@@montynicol350 I might have the opportunity to visit the Egyptian Air Museum in January so if I do, there will definitely be a video made for it! Can't think of many other places where I could see things like a Tupolev TU 16 and Mil Mi 6!

The dark green aircraft are aircraft operated by the Aviation Wing of the Turkish Ground Forces (TKK). The TKK operated the U-17A (Cessna 185 Skywagon), the Citation Citabria, the single-engine Dornier Do-27, the twin-engine Dornier Do-28 Skyservant, and a series of light helicopters (when I was there in Ankara in 1984-1986 included the Robinson R22).

The Turkish sure had a varied selection of aircraft in their armed forces! I hope to reach the museum at Ankara one day too
