Hey Mike, I used the same transmission mount (from drift motion) for my JZX90 and it drove pretty rough(loud and vibration) I put a strip of rubber on the spacing blocks and it definitely did wonders for noise and vibration.

Car isn't going to start unless you've bridged the neutral safety switch, park has a stronger signal than neutral in these cars and they don't have a rev limit in park so you won't have any problems.

I really appreciate the fact that you buy an automatic and swap in a manual later. Think you did this with your RuinedSol, civic and now this one. Don't forget to put on the tailshaft dust shield on the back of the r154. Brand new ones didn't come with it.

what year sc??? did you get a check engine light??? I live in Cali and have been trying to figure out how to get rid of the check engine light if i do a manual swap on my 2000 sc. Ive looked around and found nothing.

As said by others. Trick the neutral switch. Plus make sure you leave clearance on that gear stick entry so it doesn't vibrate against the tunnel as it moves about. Plus there is another pressed hole in the firewall down and to the right of the clutch hole you can drill for all your boost and other cables. I had to relocate all mine too. You'll love it. Its so much better. 👌🏻

I manual.swapped my sc during covid. Plenty of detailed diy information on supra forums and club lexus. Brand new r154 from.driftmotion is 2300$ suprastore and titan also have them sometimes

Long shot that you might see this or answer...but do you have the part number to that trim panel with the boot?? I JUST picked up an R154 last night and am gathering all the parts I need. I ordered the clutch pedal assembly with trans tunnel cover. Id love to have that trim panel, same color, but have not had any luck. Much appreciated brotha!!

I found it on eBay, doesn’t fit too well for my car but got the job done, just look up jzz30 or jzx100 manual transmission tunnel and you should find one

@@diiviinemedia Ahh yea I found the trans tunnel peice. I was curious about the plastic console surround with the rubber boot. The piece you are showing at 4:38 to take the place of the surround around the auto shifter

Hey Mike, don't forget to jump your neutral safety switch or it won't start. Probably in the same harness you pulled the reverse light switch wiring out of. I had no idea you could still buy brand new R154s from Toyota, that is pretty rad. May look into that when it comes time to do the 1UZ swap in my pickup.
