Cool fly - thanks for the video! Question: What does the melting of the tail flash material do for this pattern in lieu of just cutting them to length? I've never seen that done and and I'm curious... Thanks!

Great question. I don't really have a great answer for you as I started doing this technique to mimic the "Beefus Para Midge." If you find a good reason let us know!

That is going to be the most effective size range for most waterways.
