It's a cute house, but... I'd use part of the front porch to make a small entry with a coat closet. The living room is very small, and the stove uses valuable space. You can only seat three, and the table is set for six (with two of them standing). ;-) I'd replace all those open shelves in the kitchen with real, much-needed cabinets.

I'd change the woodstove to gas fireplace and put TV above. Add coat closet as you enter. On the other side of fireplace add bookcase/storage. Otherwise great job👍 👍 😃 🎉

I was a bit confused. I expected a second floor bedroom which would open up the main floor for larger kitchen and living room. I do enjoy your house plans and videos. Thank you.

As others have said, the living room is too small. I would want the heat source but maybe shifted to a different location to allow for more seating. I might prefer a coat tree and small landing table instead of the built-in. The kitchen is great! I would probably want to replace the open shelving with cabinets for practicality. The open shelving is pretty but kitchens produce a lot of grime due to steam and grease. And, as I always mention, get rid of the enormous kitchen vent and add a small one with a microwave and cabinetry instead.

Take out the wall between the living room and the bedroom next to the kitchen for an open living/dining area, and install a decently sized pantry. Using pocket doors for interior doors saves space. Otherwise, very nice.

I'd remove the left bedroom and redo the kitchen, allowing for a larger living area, replace the wood stove for a fireplace on the front wall. That way you could expand the bedroom up to the front door and still have room for coats by the door or bump the front door out using some the unused porch space. Then move the backdoor to the dining area leading out to a deck.

From the exterior, I was expecting a small upstairs area. Might be a nice home for a couple. Missing a coat closet at the front. Minimal storage spaces if both bedrooms are being used (1 nice sized, the other not so much). Living room is way too small! Kitchen/dining area are ok.

This one is one of the better ones . Some changes , would make it easier to live in it . That hood over the cook top is actually a welcome sight ( I personally don't want to smell each and every slice of bacon being cooked not to mention all night after it's been cooked either ) ! Where do You ( and the People in the #2 bedroom store dirty clothes till They wash them ) ?

These small homes are pretty, but not at all practical. There's no room for out-of-season clothes, garden tools, lawnmower, etc. Also needs at least an attached carport, or even better -- a garage. The porch is way too large. The extra space it takes would be better to make more room for the living room & kitchen/dining area. This home would be OK for a vacation/weekend getaway.

Don’t know what folks are thinking these days. It’s nice floating shelves to show off your dishes and your rice and sugar and cookbooks leave you with no cupboard space. Unless I forget, they all have to be dusted sooner or later. This is not a kitchen I could work in and I am not what you would consider a good cook. Purchasing this without thinking well give you a giant headache later on. closet seem to have good storage.
