I'm new to your channel. I have enjoyed several videos. While watching this one I started thinking about trying to braid three roses. Each one a different color. I'll have to research how to do it. Thanks for the great videos. I like that there isn't alot of noise especially sharp noises and no music. I can't wait for a follow-up to this project.

I am doing 5 and instead of braiding, I aimed them all to the center and bent them straight up in the middle. I'm holding them all flat against each other with shrink wrap tape to hopefully fuse together into one trunk with nice radial roots.

I have 8 sprouted (made a lot of guacamole). I took the 5 most vigorous and planted them in a circle on their side with the split facing up. The soil is higher around the outside of the pits. They were all still a little red and tender when I planted them so I didn't do any bending right away and just left them criss-crossed. They started bending towards the light on thier own so I made sure the light is directly over center. I let them grow a bit before I bound them together. I think I'm going to add one more in the center to make a nice dome of branches. In my head, it will be beautiful. So far, it's just a bunch of green sticks. They are all healthy and growing evenly for now.

As far as the experiment goes with the braiding maybe these are problems but man, dude those both have a very attractive look just as they are right now I think. Such big healthy leaves. Sans pests of course.

Thank you. Yeah, I kinda liked the way they looked, but I was a bit greedy, and wanted the braid to be a little bit longer before I let them grow freely :).

I love these updates! I am looking forward to their further development too. I wanna try braiding my avocados too, I put them in wet tissuepaper and then in water a month ago but they are still just in their rooting phase. I also lost 1 of 3 seeds to mold so I am preparing more seeds as I go with different methods!

Thank you :). Sometimes they start to mold, and sometimes not. I like the wet tissue in plastic box the best tho. Be sure to clean the seed good first. When they start to root you can put them in soil for best result :).

@@NordicPlantLover that was probably my mistake, I just let it in water even after rotting! I peeled the skin and cleaned them very well but it still happened 😭 my new seeds are doing much better though

It’s growing really good at the moment. But one of the three is growing a lot more than the others. I havn’t braided them any more lately.

Did you try this yourself yet? How did it go? And was it harder than you thought? :)

Remove all but the top 2 leaves on the tall trees. It will slow down the growth and allow more light to the little guy. It might cause some branching but the little guy should catch up. If you don't want branches you can knock the buds off when they show up.

Hi. They need much light, but not too much direct sun. Even watering, and repot into bigger pot after they grown for a while, after that repot 1 time each year.
