Although I have suffered from IBS for 26 years, as soon as I reached the age of 45 it all went crazy. I am so gassy, bloated, constipated one week, diarrhoea the next, I have acid indigestion and awful nausea like morning sickness. I have had so many tests, follow the low fodmap diet, only drink water, and do all the things I should be still at 51 it continues, I am certain my hormones are to blame.

I had tummy ulcers two years ago. My digestive is weak especially when I’m getting g ready to get my cycle or when I’m finishing my cycle. It’s crazy and frustrating.😢 acid reflux, bloating and esophagus issues. I changed my diet but it’s hard when you have to cook for the family and they don’t eat the same as you. 😢 I cry a lot because I get so frustrated with all these symptoms. Thank you Eileen. Feeling better after listening. Hormones are to blame from my side 😅 Menopausal cramps without period, bloating, ibs and acid reflux triggers is what I've been facing for about a year and a half now. I drink cinnamon tea and take probiotics twice a day, alleviate stress will also help.

When I started to experience issues like bloating and constipation I started to research menopause symptoms and realised my body was changing. I reduced the size of my meals and added drinking a glass of warm water with lemon juice in the morning, I also found a You tube video on morning stretches and massage to help with digestive help. This has helped and at least now go once a day.

My experience - yes! absolutely yes! What helps... certain foods make it worse, guided meditation helps, eating to fast or too much make it worse, pilates or yoga helps, lots of liquids, more veggies and fruits and balanced grain and enough protein helps.

Making sure you drink enough water is really important. You can also add a tablespoon of whole flaxseeds to some warm water and let them soak for an hour at least and then knock them back (they get a bit slimy but this is great for helping things move!)
