Another scam is that some suppliers try to manipulate buyers into leaving 5-star ratings. I requested samples from one supplier. She said she'd send me 10 units but did the TA contract as if she was sending 5 units in 60 different items. When asked about the TA contract, she said it was to make her range of product visible on Alibaba. When the samples came they matched neither the contract nor what she agreed to in conversation. She then refused to give me a refund and got upset with me for stating that I did not request or receive any of those 60 items and could not provide an honest review. Then asked me to give a better rating. Essentially, I was being asked to give 5-star ratings to products I had no knowledge about. It makes me wonder how many products are out there with fake 5-star ratings

I have a question: I'm doing my first shipping from Alibaba to Amazon in US, but my supplier is telling me that in order to save a tax Alibaba charge for shipping to US they're going to change the shipping address to a 'shipping agent' address there in China, but they're actually sending the order to US. I'm worried because in the Alibaba's payment bill will appear a different address in China from the one we want to send it in the US. What do you recommend us to do? Do we have to trust their word or is too risky to have a wrong address in our bill? PD. They have Trade Assurance and more than 6years. Thank you.

Chinese Amazon sellers, the products are shipped directly from the manufacturer to the Amazon warehouse, so there is no need to display the shipping address.

If a supplier you have send inquiry for with trade assurance always replies you with a WhatsApp or We chat number. And when you contact that supplier and order 100 pieces of goods and you decided with the supplier to pay half before shipping and half after receiving the goods and deal done. And then the supplier asks you again and again to pay first and then he will give you the details and pics of products. If he could be a scammer? Should I pay him or not? If he took the half money and then no contact. He has just made the bill and he is also providing shipping. He said they had their own freight company. I don't know if I pay him may he scam me or may be he would proove to be a good supplier. What would the result... Can you give me any advice plz.....

We are trade company based in that has partnered with Alibaba to trade in east Africa. We were assigned an handler to assist in the app development but she is using a Gmail email. Always not clear of the next steps of the app development, asks us to purchase API's and plug in so urgently. I have a feeling that we are being smacked but I don't know how to prove it. I am currently in a situation. I have used a freight forwarder from Alibaba that meets all these requirements. The agreement was to deliver my package DDP in 30-35 days. It has now been 60 days and the forwarder claims UPS has lost the package. I paid with credit card through TA. When I request for a full refund, it only allows me to submit a request for what I paid the forwarder service I pain not the cost of the goods I never received. How can I resolve this issue?
