Shoulder rotations with five to eight lbs. have helped me as well.

Thank you Yuji for your deltoid guidance. I am a 75 year old runner. I have been running for 45 years and only recently bought dumbbells and began working my upper body. I am especially glad to receive your advice about side raises first prior to deltoid lifts. I have been just doing lifts so your suggestions will be most beneficial. By the way, I am seeing physical results from my 7 months of lifting. My muscular definition is becoming more defined and I am amazed to see the results!
