I love how the topics in this podcast are about self care and self love, and less about “finding” a relationship… because we can still be happy/healthy and nurture ourselves even when we are single. My goal is to have a healthy loving relationship with myself first before my next relationship.

Love does t have to be physical to be unconditional. 23-year relationship emails over 2500 and numerous phone calls back and forth. We were supposed to meet last summer for the first time, I got an email from his daughter that he had passed, but I already knew it because he came in my dream and gave me a hug, that is all I needed and I had told him. So he made sure that he gave me one even in my dream. He was my best friend, my mentor, my encouragement, I miss him a lot, but I know he is going to be waiting for me when my time comes. This unconditional love that I needed I experienced it, and I am happy! Now I am looking forward to join him ❤

This made me cry. Liz is so beautiful in so many ways. She is always a beautiful light when I’m in a dark place in my life. I can relate to her in so,so many ways. When I am at my lowest, sometimes just reading a long, profound quote from her or watching her speak brings me to tears not because I’m necessarily sad (which I am a lot), but more so because she makes me feel so seen and validated through her genuine words and candid responses. Liz, you are a safe space for me! You remind me that I am not alone and also that all the love we really need comes from within first. And that it’s always there. I am starting to make the love letters a regular practice for me. Thank you Liz and Lewis for being so open and sharing your own hurts as well as healing in this strange journey we know as life!

Love Elizabeth's transparency and rawness! ACA is a huge gift to humanity! One of the most powerful things I've learnt recently, to give myself the love I long for. In imagination! Going to sleep, in love, hearing what I want to hear, from whom I want to hear it from, to feel chosen, to feel prioritised, valued and enveloped in love. I wake up happy. We can give ourselves what we need most and those mornings I wake up in love, I feel light, loved and chosen and others reflect it back to me! It is so beautiful! It is a practise that I sometimes struggle with, I don't always have the energy for it, but I might even try to do it as I wait in line, and whenever I feel a longing, a need, a lack, I am training myself to keep giving it to myself! Elizabeth I always feel so aligned with your words and sentiments! Thank you! You are a light 💜💙💚💛🧡❤

Good morning! This is one of the most brilliant interviews I've seen in the latest months... it's so revealing... I wanna thank Liz Gilbert from the bottom of my heart, I can recognize some parts of myself in her narrative... I just wanna say one thing... Love is never a peaceful experience... love is always meant to change us, it is always meant to transform us, and that's why it cannot be "quiet".... any love relationship is gonna disrupt your ego, and maybe that's a part of the feeling that Liz is talking about, when she says that she felt lost inside those relationships.... maybe 'cause we need to lose ourselves to find ourselves again in a new evolved form... Love is a transformation process and anytime we feel love we have the privilege to evolve as human beings.. In the end loving deeply is gonna let ourselves love more who we are.

24:15 - This was beautifully worded and a great self analysis of ones self and understanding how your actions at one moment time or place may have seemed necessary, but in reality it was a projection of protecting your own reality. This is what I had to go go through 5 years ago and still learning today. It also brings a level of validation sometimes you need to give people, when you wrong them. It's not about, just saying sorry, it's about hitting the behaviors directly and showing your true colors, which really shows in actions how you internalized the conflict and brings resolution to everyone.
