No matter how many times I talk to my sons about the gospel they just don’t see it. They argue for the state of the planet, go on about climate change. Capitalism is to blame for all the world’s woes. They accuse me detached from the world issues because I talk about Jesus. 😔

Word of Faith movement makes me uncomfortable as well, and I don’t believe it’s biblical. Yet I get a little confused reading scriptures like Mark 11:23! About receiving whatever we ask if we do not doubt, any thoughts to add to this Pastor Brian? Thanks!

My teen adult daughter confided in me about an addiction to masturbation and will she not go to Heaven because of it. I appreciated how much it took for her to confide that in me. I told her she cannot lose her Salvation because of that. I didn't know what else to say. Can anyone here offer and advice as a Christian father what to say to her about masturbation? I'm at a loss on this

Ryan Ries has a book (also on audiobook) called "Kill the Noise". I haven't listened to the whole thing, but he very boldly addresses such issues all the time. If you search his name, w/ that term, some videos pop up. He's also with The Whosoevers, and you may find videos under their name. Hang tough.

@@paulsheffield888 You're very welcome. I feel certain you will find some helpful information from him. He does /not/ skirt around. He is extremely direct, and unashamed to speak on such issues. I wish you & your precious daughter very well. I'm astonished that she even spoke with you about it. Speaks volumes.

HEY!! I just remembered something straight from the Bible that will tell her she has NOT lost her salvation. In 1 Corinthians 5:5, there is a guy who is sleeping w/ his father's wife. idk if the father is still alive, we are not told, BUT... it says this: "To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." So that guy, was doing something bad enough that Paul (?) says to 'deliver him to satan', but only for the destruction of his flesh. He is > > > STILL SAVED < <

@GoGoGadgetDoom She's an identical twin. As a father, I've spent my life raising my children for Christ. I teach them, walk with them frequently, help them in all their schooling, fellowship with them, instruct them on the world conditions and have traveled a lot with them. Their Mom is very very slow. She has a hard time grasping things. So they've always depended on me. In truth, it's been tough at times trying to keep my twin 20 year old daughters and my wife continuously feeling loved, appreciated, understood, supported and protected while trying to work also. It's only by the Grace of God that I've managed so much for so long. My daughter asked me when I got home just moments ago, "How does she make Jesus Lord of her life"? I told her; by avoiding the snares of this world by staying faithfully in God's Word each and every day. Soon, college begins again and her mind will be more occupied in her studies. We've been attending Church in fellowship a lot more as we see The Day of Christ approaching but the spiritual attacks have stepped up because of it. This war gets harder each day.
