Agree. Stephen Fulton was trying not to move, he didn't telegraph; Naoya Inoue was moving a lot of times, he telegraphs from his elbows. Everyone knows who got knocked down

I completely agree with you. For the first point, Its not that the punches are not telegraphing, but the arms are already closer to range, thus theyre faster and less predictable. Setting a rhythm and breaking it is also an awesome lesson, gotta learn to do that.
@expertboxing Жыл бұрын
Yeaup. The arms are more in firing position and will therefore come out faster.

@@expertboxing right. Have you thought about making a video about the recent mega fight between Davis and Garcia ? Like show the techniques used, distance control by Davis and setting up the KO. I can help you with the script if you would like. I love fight breakdowns

The hardest part of shooting these videos is getting a demo partner right away. But yeah...it's easy enough. Davis threw a hook as Ryan was throwing a right. And his body roll took steam off Ryan's landed punch (theoretically).

@@expertboxing I know what happened. Im just giving you video ideas. Also the first knockdown had some nice techniques like outside foot placement etc..
@expertboxing Жыл бұрын
@@muhammadtyson8676 Yeah, it's a great idea to show it. Just not sure how I can manage without a demo assistant.

Please do a video on advanced boxing head movement (part 1) -the evasion dance please can you do a video on it please 🥺 ?.

I think the biggest telegraphing mistake has to do with guys moving a part of their body BEFORE the punch is thrown. Even a lot of pros do that - they lean forward/move the shoulder/move the foot separately from the punch, instead of moving all the parts simultaneously. Or little things like lowering the hand for a split second before throwing, lifting the foot etc I remember Bernard Hopkins was talking about it, you gotta throw it the way even you dont know when you throw it. You're right, you gotta be always moving and fainting
@expertboxing Жыл бұрын
From experience in the ring, I don't see any issue with moving part of your body before a punch. Because there's timing and direction. Just because your opponent knows one doesn't mean they know the other. And telegraphing could be easily used as "misdirection". Moving one tiny part of your body before a punch really doesn't give very much away as much as you think it does. (BUT...all this is only if you know what you're doing.)

This boxing game can complicated. Everybody says RELAX but then say keep your guard tight. Boxing is a total contradiction , just like life, i fucking love it. ❤

@@goldjozi1276 thanks brother, and remember when playing football to always keep the high balls low. My coach used to say that befpre every game 😂 i was coaching a kid boxing the other day , and i had to laugh while telling him to stay relaxed but keep his defense tight 🤣

Not really. Everyone who boxes uses feints. Whether the casual viewer can see it on video is another matter.

So because you feel like it isn't it isn't got it. What a load of bs, Good technique is always gonna beat speed Garcia and Davis shouldve showed you that. That rythym you setting too rythym stepping is the biggest telegraph in combat sports not just boxing.
