I am excited to learn Italian and sentence structure, All I know is a bunch of words in Italian but don't know how to use them in a sentence. Understanding material like adjectives after a noun helps. I think small sentences and how to start a sentence with various words helps.

suggestion: in the section of the genders and irregularities, you could have added that genders of composite words do not respect the rule of "gender defined by the vowel at the end", like: l'attaccapanni il portamonete and some other exceptions: words that are derived from other words + the ending "one" la coperta - il copertone la molletta - il mollettone la scarpa - lo scarpone la calza - il calzone

Question: if Pilot is masculine, wouldn’t the singular masculine be ‘il piloto’ ? Thank you for you’re time
@theintrepidguide2 жыл бұрын
Great question. This is an exception, one of many, so it’s “il pilota”

Italian words derived from Latin (with neuter gender) or Greek, like this one above, have retained the final 'a' in the masculine singular :)

Considering mistakes; it's "Aitch" NOT "Haitch" when pronouncing the letter "H".

I have tried to learn Italian,French,Spanish and German.I do not understand any of them.The Grammar,Listening,Speaking,Etc.I can never understand.I would say I got 2 out of 10 for each of them. I have just started back on an Italian Course. I will get 2 out of 10 again.I try my best,but my best is not good enough.Not to worry.

Try hard, learn everyday and you will succeed my friend. Same happened to me in french, but I didn't like the language because I had no choice against my school's willingness. I performed bad at french but I'm doing well in Italian. Just do it everyday and do something rather than nothing
