the lossless scaling app on steam has frame generation in it now so it can take your game and basically put it in its own application displaying it there and squeezing frames into it comes at the cost of some latency and artifacting which does not like ui elements to much 0:45 as I'm writing this with the video paused I see someone in the chat in this clip is probably speaking of such lol

I keep having several people (including the user who we are commenting under right now) that are just getting shadow banned/unbanned out of my comments and livestreams with me having 0 control or input. I have no idea why its happening but its super annoying. Its even happened to one of my friends too.

@klem is the general recommendations here to not run moments or was it the steel series software in general? I run moments along side a steelseries headset and keyboard. I am def moving off moments though after this.

No, the Steelseries software in general. Outside of moments, I've had several instances where people have had direct performance issues from that application. My advice (since you specifically have Steelseries hardware) is to isolate Steelseries tasks to their own core so that its impact in CPU-bound situations is minimized. Feel free to ask in the discord or further in this comment if you need help doing it!

can you share with us which settings you were using for medal such as the bitrate etc?

Yeah! All apps were testing with NVENC, 20k bitrate @1080p60.

Avoiding the game also improves framerates

what about obs replay buffer?

There's a separate video that covered obs replay buffer- as far as I could tell there, it was worse for performance, but that depends on the encoder used.
