I agree not everything is for everyone body. I used to work out for an hour but never got those happy feelings people would talk about after working out. I felt annoyed and burned out. Finally I stopped cardio, I do gentle weight lifting 3-4x a week for 20min. I finally started experiencing the happy hormones and feeling good. Not everything is for everybody. It’s hard to remember that sometimes less is more especially since the fitness industry pushes “go big or go home” and “all or nothing” mentality.

Restrictive eating and lack of calories were two huge mistakes. I didn’t lose weight and I was miserable. Now I eat balanced meals, and it has helped my stomach issues and my symptoms.

Hello hun, I have been diagnosed with PCOS from September 2021 and I have gained a tremendous amount of weight which I am having difficulty losing. I feel tired easily, I have really bad skin rash that just cropped up. I also have started getting skin tags. I notice when I skip milk then my skin starts to become more calmer and less itchy. So I decided to go Gluten and Dairy free. Hopefully I will be able to control my symptoms. I also started taking a multivitamin which is helping me feel more energetic although it leaves me feeling so hungry. Your videos have really been so helpful. I'm definitely going to give certain points a try 🙏 thank you for all the help.

Ahhh this is so helpful. I’ve been pushing myself at the gym doing lots of cardio to get rid of my belly. Gonna try slow weighted workouts and see if it makes a different 👍🏼

Haha orange theory! i signed up early this year and it was intense! i totally felt stressed walking into class and during class too. it kinda ruined working out for me for a while but ive been doing low intensity/hiking and its helped a lot!

Hello, I am doing treadmill, gentle jogging 3 times a week for 40 mins, and slow weighted workouts twice a week. Should I *just* do slow weights and quit the jogging? I feel like it’s good for my cardio health and I enjoy it, but am I wrong?

I have been diagnosed with bilateral insulin resistant PCOS two months ago. During the first month of treatment, I did nothing but had metformin tablets 2× per day. During the second month, I started cutting off gluten, dairy, all kinds of sweets and caffeine from my diet . Also I started to do 16:8 intermittent fasting. As of now, I have lost 9.4 pounds. I was 134 pounds when I was diagnosed and now I am 125 pounds). My doubt is, if I continue to be like this and lose weight, will my chance of getting type 2 diabetes decrease? (Stating that my father and grandmother have a history of type 2 diabetes) what all things should I further do to avoid completely the chances of getting diabetic in my life?

Hiiii, I have pcos and my weight is 210 pounds , my periods are irregular and I have slight acne sometimes, my doctor said I have pcos from being overweight but I told her I have had these symptoms since im young , she told me losing weight is easy and it’s totally not! I have been following ur workout routine and i feel great when im done!!!! So thank you for that :) any chance u could give your opinion on if I should walk more like an hour or 2 a day? 💕

im not eating so much, not eating junk... im still not losing weight. its already 2 months. im stuck losing 10 pounds only. im not eating all that is not allowed on pcos by my doctor. already done that, i am eating glucose free... still stuck. im swimming, sometimes walking. im still stuck. omg. this channel didnt help me at all. sorry to say. im out.

Make sure that by not eating so much you are not starving your body of calories! Yes, a calorie deficit might help, but make sure that you’re not putting your body into starvation mode by eating too few calories. When you’re hungry for a snack, eat nuts, fruit, a little dark chocolate, weight watcher snacks, etc., and don’t eat anything with high fructose corn syrup or other bad ingredients for PCOS. Go light on gluten and dairy, but you don’t need to go gluten or dairy free. Also, make sure you are doing at least three days of strength training (every other day) and doing light to moderate aerobics or cardio on the other days, Pilates has really helped me, too. Don’t give up, it can take a while with PCOS to lose the weight and never weigh yourself every day, weigh yourself once a week. Our weight fluctuates so much with PCOS that it can get discouraging, but you’ll lose the weight over time. I’ve lost 29 pounds so far, in two and a half months!
