I married a woman from a broken home. Parents abandoned her, abused her, never said I love you, and even worse the step dad was a child molestor. I tried to fix her, she abused me daily for my mistakes, constantly yell get mad at me, she loved me but it was abuse, I left her after 2 years of trying, she improved maybe 10-20%. Couldn't fix her.

Alice there is a verse that many need to see... Many don't understand this verse, and explains EVERYTHING regards to relationship. Ephesians 5 verse 21-33. It never mentions to "love" your husband, but to "Respect" him. All social media tells us the message to NOT respect him. This verse also mentions of future conflict. Relationships shouldn't be 50/50. Just like the reasons that we only have "1 captain" in airplanes. If emergency happened both engines dont work and lets say there were two captains in command. One can say land in the ocean, and other mentions to land onto the land. Well 50% would be the Clift between the ocean and the land. That's why we have only one pilot (captain) in command. Living in western Europe, I enjoy cooking for some weird reason. I don't know any girl that knows how to cook, and they joke about it like it's something to be proud of. Same with other house chores like washing/ironing clothes. Sufficed to say all of these girls are currently single and/or divorced. I am native German. I extensively travelled around the east - Asia, Eurasia. In the end I ended up in Russia, where I am since more then 15 years. And you know what, although many women here use to cook and do some housework they are in many ways even worse then our western women. Chinese and Russian women in general are way more addicted to material wealth, conveniences, more dishonest, more manipulative, have a completely matriarchical mindset, put the man always after themselves, their child, the house and the dog. 1 % of eastern women are probably suitable wife "material" from a biblical standpoint whereas in the west we still might have 5% left so the chances to find a good wife in the place you are rn is still 5 times higher then elsewhere.

He was looked at like a handbag or shoes. "I want kids looking like him" was all she mentioned. It didn't last long. Yes the health thing. She admit very early on didn't let me think she will become thin later (she was very overweight and pursuing me). Yes the nothing going thing. She based her only past time as caring about her sister and her sisters kids. Nothing in life otherwise no reason to laugh or smile be happy about. Become more intelligent, wise, self control of emotions, spiritually lead, and physically fit. At the vary least you can move on from a relationship better self than you went into it. There is one thing I would add. Your point on kindness is crucial. In addition to watching if she is kind to humans, watch if she is kind to animals because animals are helpless in the hands of humans. She doesn't have to be the crazy cat lady of the neighborhood, but definitely she should not be cruel to them. If she is cruel to animals, just imagine how she would treat her children.

I was dating a girl from broken family and it was hard. Her mother was drug addict, her father in jail. There were times when i believed i fixed her everything was so nice, but lasted only a while… She was extreamly sensitive to spiritual world and i could see as clear as day when she was filled with Holy Spirit or with spirit of devil. I loved her and wanted to mary her but THANKS TO GOD she lost her feelings for me and we broke up. Immediately after the break up she started to sleep with other guys (I have never slept with her, waiting till marrige)she also cheated on me while we were dating but only throuh text messages, started to drink, got tattoos etc… The girl I had before was similar case broken family - she lost her feelings for me and was extremly hard to work with she couldnt do anything and had no motivation to learn anything
