Thank you so much You are one of the best imams I have seen🙏🏼🤍 I am also Muslim and I’m trying to read the Quran fully for the first time and I want to be honest, some verses seemed really brutal to me but after your explanation I feel more relieved 🙏🏼 Thank u very much for your kind way of explaining Islam

You obviously have poor critical thinking skills and require somebody to sooth your concerns. If the Prophet waged offensive Jihad clearly, if he instituted the practice of abrogation and if Allah call those who disbelieve the worst of creation and to fight those who spread corruption than what do you think it means? Please wake up and smell the coffee. The Quran does not call for violence. And it does not call for peace. It calls for both whether you like it or not. Perhaps you should reconsider your faith if this troubles you so much.

@@Crazy88277 no this has nothing to do with poor critical thinking. It is normal for a believer to have doubts when he reads something for the first time and the most important thing is to lock up why it was written this way because you must know the historical context in which the Quran vers was revealed. And this explanation from him just made sense to me.

@@Zantooooo ok so obviously you have some background information and have the ability to discern things and so I retract my unnecessary gratuitous comment I made and would like to apologize as well. I assumed you were like many of the Muslims that follow Shabir, “Muslim light” I call them. Anyways what baffles me a bit is that despite knowing this is that you must also know that the Quran is also meant as a guide book for all of time to believers. If we start reducing everything to “oh he said that because of his time or circumstance.” Then the Quran becomes just a historical document that provides only a few niceties for believers like say “kind words” and nothing deeper. Let me give you an example of how this can go wrong… I meet many Muslim women at protest and I see many of them with no hijab and when I politely question them they say “oh that was an ayat for the believing women of those times. The prophet did not say women of the future had to do this so then I’m free to wear what I want. My only response to this is “ummm ok.” I mean what can I say. 🤷♂️ it’s not my faith but I find it so peculiar how human beings what they are will twist and contort what at the end of the day is so clear. I hope my point is clear enough. For the record I’m actually happy to have Muslims as yourself who interpret things more moderately as I am a liberal human being but i always like to examine the intelectual process that is going on when I see this in Islam. ☪️ Happy Ramadan either way and may God Bless you anyway. 🙏

So you say that if they (the jews, christians, etc) still wouldn't believe in Allah of the Quran and say 'Sorry, i still dont want to be a muslim." - where in the Quran does it say that you should then take them to a safe place even if they refuse islam? Why then, does the Quran say to fight them if then you dont fight them if they still chose to be unbelievers..? You are contradicting yourself. You have no other choice but to accept that the quran teaches to shame the ones who refuse islam and fight them or kill them or force them to pay you money.

See, Palestinians could've already had it but they rejected deal after deal. And resolved to violence, terrorism just in line with their desert prophet. And tactics like these are not something that gain them sympathy.

Mark 13:32 and Revelation 1:1. In Mark 13:32 Jesus says, “But that day and that time are known to no one, not even the angels in heaven, nor to the Son, but only to the Father ." For fun: The text in Numbers 23:19 reads: "God is not a man, that he should break his word, or go back on his counsel. Should he promise and not perform, or give his word, and not perform it?" Should I go on…? Concerning the death of Judas, the disloyal disciple, Matthew 27:5 states he took the money he had received for betraying Jesus, threw it down in the temple, and “went and hanged himself.” To the contrary, Acts 1:18 claims Judas used the money to purchase a field and “falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.”
